Good to Have But..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always go on trips alone and this is very useful. But sometime it always goes un-synced to the camera. So you have to re-setup everything again and sync again. I never had a smooth experience using this. But as i said it is good to have. I just hope that they would do something about that issue.

Unhappy customer

PROS: *Small CONS: *Battery dies fast *Does not work underwater *Hard to connect to camera *Loses connection constantly (this is the biggest problem as it was never ready when I needed it.) *Does not float *Key is rusting *Leaving wifi on gopro to keep remote connected drains gopro battery fast. I am 100% disappointed in a very expensive product. I expected more. Wish I could return.

GoPro Remote quality is bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Remote for my 4 Black and it broke barely a year after I bought it. I tried to get Go Pro to fix it since it is no longer has a warranty and got this response. "Unfortunately GoPro does not offer a repair service. Due to the intricacy of the camera itself, the cost of trying to replace any part would be too high for us to be able to offer such service." The sort answer appears to be "Buy another one. Best of luck" I hope the camera lasts.
