If you want to attach your GoPro to a tripod or monopod, this is what you need. I have used this on a monopod and got sharks feeding in Roatan!!!!!!!!!

the tripod mount allows you to use any tripod you want or you can made a hand held grip or attached to a hat. It can work with about anything.

These mounts are perfect! I used them on some home-made poles and the end of my skateboard....

Even though using the GoPro in a stationary manner is not the typical use, the tripod mount allows you to easily use it in this way.
