Great history, a different way to see batman's life

this is a very intersting season to say the least.

Gotham season 1 is another wonderful hero TV show on TV from DC. One more great addition to your collection of comic book TV show if you already had the Flash and Arrow! This show is okay compared to the other 2 shows but still great! Recommend it!

I was excited for this but it ended being a turn off. The characters they add are interesting but it just comes off way too cheesy. I hear the show gets better over seasons but I don't know if I want to even continue.

This is a review of Best Buy, not Gotham. I buy multiple tv shows and movies at once in the fall, put them on the shelf, and open them after Christmas to enter the digital code. I bought several of them from Best Buy. I purchased multiple seasons of Gotham in August. When I went to open season 1, there was no cellophane on it and the outer plastic on the bluray case was slashed. I had not noticed previously as I had literally taken them out of the box and put them on the shelf. There was no digital code sheet inside the case. Obviously, this bluray was not new and had been returned previously and not checked out. I called Bect Buy. The first rep told me that they could just send me a digital code. The second rep told me they couldn't do that, that those codes came from the distributor, I was also told that since it was past the normal 15 day return period since I had bought it, there was nothing I could do. they were unable to exchange it. I used to work in retail. This was a $10 bluray when I bought it. They're willing to give themselves an upset customer for $10. I used to be in big box retail management. I would have never let a customer walk out of the store upsat over $10.

How do you take something so simple and screw it up? The acting and casting is actually very good, but I don't like the changes they made to the comics. Okay, not great.

Not to bad for the first season and introducing all the characters. Took me a little while to get into it, but i think it's promising. Now on to binge season 2...

Gotham is an interesting origins story of Batman, often from the viewpoint of Commissioner Gordon. We also get the origin story of his enemies like Catwoman.

Good series, but not the best in his category. If you like the batman movies, probably you will not like it as much as Nolan films.

a slow start but understandable being the first season I have high hopes for the main character. some of the story lines kinda suck

Bats is absent, but emphasis on supporting characters mostly succeeds. Often descends into gratuitous violence, unfortunately.

Great idea in concept. Mostly thru the first season and probably won't watch any more because of the rinse repeat formula.

Gotham is a good show that carries a lot of weight without having batman. The villains are great especially penguin
