solid show great plot lines an interesting take on the origin of the Batman

I like this show. Wish it committed to an alternate time line but good fun

I love this show so much. It's my long held belief it's the Batman '89/Batman Returns offspring and it does a great job of mixing up the villains, who are well written and quite interesting to follow, with the very gradual transformation of Bruce into The Batman. I LOVED the "Jokers" AND AM VERY ANGRY AND SAD THAT THE UPCOMING FIFTH SEASON WILL BE THE LAST... SHOULD HAVE GONE TO AT LEAST 7. Excited to see how it all ends... GREAT BLU RAY TRANSFER AND SOUND AND THE SHOW IS GREAT FOR REPEAT VIEWING. It's like watching a 20 hour long Batman '89 movie, which is just fine with me.

Building to the end with the inevitable appearance of the Caped Crusader

This is a good show that is setting the stage for the final season.

I'm building a nice library of my favorite shows on DVD, and GOTHAM fits in very well. The writing, actors and sets are great, and the storyline keeps me coming back every week. Sometimes I have to miss an episode or two, and I have forgotten to DVR more than once, so it's nice to have this DVD set to fill in the missing pieces. All in all, this is another great season of the beginning story of my favorite DC character, BATMAN.

The show pulls further away from its previous season and begins to focus on Bruce's transformation to Batman. This season takes more from the established Batman universe and adds their own unique spin on it.

Love all the chapters of Bruce Wayne's life leading up to becoming the dark knight and caped crusader Batman. Dramatic, dark, quirky and sometimes humorous backline stories include younger versions of Alfred Pennyworth, Penguin, Joker, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, James Gordon, Mr. Freeze & many more! This is the DC world at its finest. Completion of Season 4 will definitely make you thirst more! A+++

much is made of the DC vs Marvel movies with DC not coming in 1st - by a long shot. If you want it presented correctly then become a fan of Gotham. The story continues with its endless twists and turns and the characters we have wanted to be favored in the show are having more face time. Love this series! and the fact that Batman is not the main character is refreshing!

Teen Bruce is hitting his stride. No longer the scared and wide eyed kid, Bruce is becoming his own man now and developing his playboy Bruce Wayne persona and seeing what type of person behind the mask he will embody. Villains galore, lots of great references (I hate the term Easter Eggs) and the story and acting is fantastic!!!

The 4th season suffered from gaps in its scheduling during its broadcast run due to the ever-shifting nature of the threats and evolving character arcs. Being able to binge the whole season helps enormously and makes the whole season much more enjoyable.
