Not happy with Go trax
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked good until it did not . Back tire popped. The base where the scooter collapses started to feel loose, and now it’s throwing an E5 code . And it won’t run at all . I must send it back in pay 100+for a box and shipping 400 dollars down the drain .

Not as Advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Range is about 8 miles an hour and braking is subpar. I'd need something with a bit more range to get around town.

Good choice, but not water resistant
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Gotrax XR Advance focuses on nailing the scooter essentials while skipping the gimmicks of other more expensive options. This scooter is built very well and is fun to ride, this has been a joy to replace my car the past few days during my couple mile commute to work. It has a few minor drawbacks, but nothing that takes away from the experience. When taking the scooter out of the well packaged box you’ll first notice how solid and well built this is, it gives you full confidence in the build quality and durability. Assembly itself was easy and quick, about 10 minutes, although I do believe the images in the assembly instructions could be improved to match better with the text. Charging the device the first time did go quicker than suggested, it took about 90 minutes for the first charge instead of the 7 hours noted in the manual. The charge port is higher up on the scooter which I find makes it easier to plug in than those that are on the bottom. My only note with charging is I do wish there was a “fully charged” indicator on the scooter display, rather than just on the power adapter plugged into the wall if it may be difficult to see depending on where you plug it in. Riding the scooter for the first time you’ll notice the motor on this has no issues getting up to speed, and maintaining a decent speed. This scooter fared far better than I had expected on minor hills, it never gave up or came to a crawl on a hill, but I did notice the scooter working pretty hard while going up the steepest hills in the neighborhood, and it did lose some speed on bigger hills. The cruise control is nice to avoid finger fatigue for longer rides but does take a little getting used to knowing when it will activate. I did also find deactivating this while going uphill to be a bit jarring the first time, but this is very easy to get used to. This does handle bumps in the pavement well, but you will certainly feel the larger ones (as you’d expect) the super rough roads did get a bit fatiguing for me after about 20 minutes. This does have a headlight built in which is aimed well and I could see coming in handy if you got caught out after sunset, although I still wouldn’t plan on riding at night without more lighting/visibility. The manual does state repeatedly this is not water resistant, so getting caught in rain or hitting a puddle would likely be bad. This, in my opinion, is a significant oversight on their part for a scooter marketed as a commuter. Last thing I did want to mention is the folding on this scooter, the mechanism feels durable enough to last and the scooter weight is balanced well and wasn’t too cumbersome carrying down 3 flights of stairs, which is nice since I do see this being quite nice for those living an in apartment without room for something larger such as a bike. I would love to see a better way, or maybe a separate accessory to pack this in a car better without it moving or rolling while driving like this tends to. Overall this scooter seems like a great value for anyone looking for a fun vehicle, or something to get you a couple miles to or from work!

Great Compact Electric Scooter
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GoTrax -XR Advance Commuting Electric Scooter is a lot of fun! Putting it together was a breeze (my 15 year old son put it together by himself). It is easy to operate, and we were off and riding in no time. There is one on/off button, so it is not complicated with multiple settings. After that, all you have to do is stand on the base with one foot, push off with your other foot and depress the "go" lever. For a lightweight scooter it goes pretty fast up to 12 mi/hr. The charge seems to last a long time too. We used it for multiple laps around our neighborhood with no need to recharge (each lap is about 1.5 miles). I like that it is lightweight and easy to fold up if you need to transport it. It would fit easily in a car or small space like a closet for storage. The handles are comfortable, and the scooter was easy to ride and could change direction with ease. The brakes were very good, almost too good. They allow for a quick stop, so just be ready to stop on a dime. I really like the bright headlight for riding at dusk/night and the bell to alert others you are behind them. The only negative thing I can say is the piece covering the back wheel seems a little flimsy. If you accidentally step on that area, I could see it bending or breaking. Also, being that it is lightweight, it's not as big as some of the other scooters I've seen. It's perfect for my 130lb frame, but it felt small and less sturdy to my almost 200lb teenage sons. The base where you stand is narrower too, so my size 8 women's feet fit great, but a larger size foot might find a bigger, wider base more comfortable. Besides that, it is quiet, comfortable and great sized if you need to load it in/out of a car or store in a small area. Overall, a really fun scooter.

Scooter review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hook to hold the break wire is not so strong and was breakable within few days which is little disappointing to see when a new one need replaces, rest otherwise performance is all good and my son enjoy driving the scooter

Don't pop a tire.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Scooter is decent. Had it for 2 months now and the breaks have already worn. The biggest issue is changing the tire. We got a flat and the tire split down the middle. You can't order spares on their website. It is IMPOSSIBLE to change the tire. I've taken to 3 tire shops in town and they all refuse to do it because sooter tires are too hard. Now Im stuck with a brick.
