simple Karaoke machine

Older model was much better.

I had an older GPX model that was very similar in features, size and looks that we used for 3-4 years until it finally gave out. Seeing this one and being pleased with our older one I decided to give it a try. The first time we opened to use it the music kept cutting in and out while you were singing and the microphone just didn't work that well. Overall the quality and feel was much cheaper and it did not perform at all like the older model. I decided to return it and probably will not be buying another GPX. Unfortunately it seems like the quality of the product is just not what it used to be.

It broke with light use after 2 1/2 months

She played with it a lot for a few days, then only occasionally. In early March, it suddenly decided to stop playing CDs mid-song. Sometimes it spins them, sometimes it doesn't; but either way no music occurs. This was a nice touch, as it was her birthday and she was trying to sing along to some new karaoke CDs. I will not be purchasing anything from GPX again.
