Really enjoyed this movie. The story told is perfect as well as the evolution of the characters. I dont know why some people gave this less than 5 stars. Clint is outstanding. "Toad" is a terrific character. The story is mega solid and glues you to the tv. The values and lessons learned from this movie make it an instant classic. Reminds me of the great stories told in Stand By Me and The Outsiders. Do not miss this legendary performance.

A fantastic movie that didn't get the respect it deserved. This movie was cited as being racist, when it was actually quite the contrary. It's time to hang up the "political correctness." Differences are good! Division is bad. The racial and cultural "slurs" went both ways in this movie. So if you're easily offended over the rediculous, skip it. If you want to see a fantastic movie with a great story, you'll love it!

This is a great movie for old guys everywhere. Set in Detroit, Korean War Vet Walt Kowalski has watched his neighborhood deteriorate and hasn't much use for the Blacks and Asians that have moved in (he's a serious bigot). Eventually he learns that most of these people are not as worthless as he thinks and comes up with a unique solution for dealing with the ones who are.

I love this movie, express a lot about the old american culture. Old racist people. Walter go into a selfdiscovery of what he tough was rong, but to let himself know that people who he hated before. Found a lot reasons to open his mind to a new culture, to new people to a new Walter. Great MOVIE, 100% great. I lot a people could learn something with this movie BE TOLERANT WITH OTHERS.

This movie is just perfect. Clint Eastwood acts and directs it, there is some racist humor all over the place (which is good in some cases) i like it because he is very racist all the time, but still has revelations about being racist throughout the movie. If you haven't seen this yet, i bet you still haven't seen Eastwood at his best.

Clint Eastwood may be getting over the hill, but he still knows how to make a great movie. The plot is a great one for anyone who has lived in any area like that and understands just how much it truly is like that. He also draws you into the characters well enough that you can get emotionally attached.

I love this movie. It has great characters, great plot, and overall quality is awesome. If you have a bluray player or PS3 itll work on your tv. If you dont, then it wont. That should pretty much be the deciding factor on this purchase. If you like quality movies, youll love this.

Walt Kowalski is the stereotype of every WWII/Korea veteranThat I have ever met. They want to be allowed to live their lives unobstructed by the new "politically correct" mores. This is what I like the most about this movie; it's comfortable.

From Begining to End the movie was Awesome. besides being a great movie, teaches people to respect others watch it for yourself, you will see what I mean.. sometimes I feel we forget we are All part of the Human Race nuff said

This is a MUST OWN movie. I am a 21 year old female, and went to see it with my parents. We all enjoyed it and thought it was the best film we've seen in a long time. It's definitely worth every penny.

Bought this as a gift for my dad who is impossible to get gifts for because he rarely watches TV or movies and has everything else he will ever need. He loves the movie ad do I.

I can not believe that this did not come up for any awards. I saw it in the theater and knew I wanted to own it. Has A good plot.. It stays interesting to the end.

Mr. Eastwood is great for make this movie. words cant explain the movie. it will have be racking your brain for the whole movie. its a must have for any movie lover!!!

Everyone i know liked this movie but me, i think Clint Eastwood is a great actor, but not in this movie. He looked tired and old, and tried to be a cowboy but ended up getting shot to save a kids life. It was a good story, but i think they should of had a different actor play the lead role.

This was such a great movie. Clint Eastwood is the grandfather everyone wants. I do not want to ruin anything. All I can say is buy or rent it and check it out.

Just an awesome movie, I let 4 neighbors borrow it and they all brought it back to me and loved it. You will not be disappointed by buying this movie.

As a huge Clint Eastwood fan I was not let down with Gran Torino! Epic story of redemption and sacrifice!
