"Gravity" is this year's visual masterpiece... add it to your Blu-Ray collection, along with last year's "Life of Pi", as the current hallmarks of Hollywood magic-making. With "Gravity", the plot is admittedly a bit less than profound, but that's okay-- it works fine as a 90-minute rollercoaster ride. And the Blu-Ray transfer is excellent. Pop this in when you feel like showing off your AV system.

The movie is definitely worth viewing. There was a lot of hype about this movie. It is a quality offering, The main point that adds interest is the viewer. You imagine your emotions and thoughts if were you in similar situations. The movie is worth owning, but I would not spring for the 3D version. It really only seemed to add some depth to the images. There was not too much extra offered by 3D.

This two-hour film passed in about 15 mins, my time. I was so engrossed in the plot that time just roared by at warp speed. Realism, Special Effects, Plot Twists, all served to make this a truly memorable film. I will watch this again and again. It seems so plausible and was filmed with such accuracy that you cannot help but be caught up in it. Truly a film worth watching again and again.

I rarely see a movie more than once and I certainly never pay to go see the same movie again. Not with Gravity. I saw this movie 3 times in theaters and knew I had to have it for my collection. It's so powerful and metaphoric and visually stunning. It took them 4 years to make the movie and you can see why! So much detail and care was taken to make this movie...you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed the movie "Gravity". The Cinematography was really good, but the realisom of the movie was way out there. The acting was good, but I thought it would have been better if maybe they would have set up the plot a little better. If they would have made the movie a little more believable, then maybe I would have enjoyed it better. All in a word I would say that the movie Gravity was GOOD.

A must own, especially in 3D if you have 3D! A truly amazing movie! Its an exciting edge of the seat thrill ride. Bullock is amazing once again! I'm sure you've read the other reviews so i won't repeat the overall theme. But my only beef was that it was too short at only 90 mins. Could have been another half hour at least. But just the same its a fantastic movie and one worth owning!

The movie was excellent as evidenced by the Academy Award nominations. Story line was hard to believe but the effects and acting was excellent. The emotions emitted by actress Sandra Bullock were noteworthy even for a seasoned actress. George Clooney, although good, did not measure up to the performance of Sandra Bullock. I definitely recommend this movie for your personal collection.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, do yourself a favor and see it now. Sandra Bullock gives a performance of a lifetime, in which she alone is the only character for 90% of the movie. Excellent cinematography and story, if you have the capability to see it in 3D, this is one of those movies that does the technology justice, and simply immerses you from beginning to end.

Gravity is a thrilling, heart pounding ride of a movie. The 3D effects are dazzling, and well worth the additional price of the 3D Blu-ray. The isolation of being stranded in space is magnified by the stunning 3D visuals, and the personal stories of the two astronauts tethered to each other while free-floating just outside the Earth's atmosphere makes for a compelling narrative.

This movie is really good. I feel the acting was really great. It was extremely realistic and the 3D was awesome. I found my self trying to avoid being hit by things. The only thing I didn't like was the ending. Where in the world did she land? Was she rescued? I don't know and I'll never know. I'm one of those people that needs closer, so these questions are bugging the heck out of me.

Slow movie movie. It has great cinematography but the overall story moves slow.

I bought this movie without seeing it in the theater, and watched it at home in 3D without any expectations. It's a great movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The 3D is very well done and only there as an add on to a great story. Picture quality is top notch, and the soundtrack is amazing in full surround. It includes some great special features, well worth the price.

This movie has several layers of thought provoking ideas. You need to listen to Sandra's character carefully to see the parallel between her real life and what is going on in this mission. The cinematography is breathtaking and you feel as if you are there with the characters. The sound and lack thereof at the appropriate moments enhances the feeling of actually being in space.

You really need patience and sympathy for Ryan stone(Sandra bullock) its a movie that requires you to believe and to become close to the character.gravity doesnt insult the audience with long scenes of obvious exposition,it uses cinematic conventions to progress the plot and character development. This is one of my favorite films... And one of my top 3 directors.definitely a must see.

As noted above, I've found a new 3D demo for the movie theater. I don't get too many 3D versions, but read some other reviews and am now glad I opted for the 3D version (which luckily was on sale). The movie itself is stellar and unexpected movie. Video is amazing, and sound is near reference. Bonus content is good as well. Should be a required addition to any Blu-ray library.

Gravity is easily one of the best movies of the year with great performances and some incredible special effects. The movie is best in 3D if your setup is compatible but is still fun to watch in whatever format works for you. The scene where the International Space Station gets destroyed is probably my favorite... so much happening, things flying around while trying to escape.

Gravity had a cast of 2 with several voice overs in other roles and it didn't need more. The writers, directors and actors put their hearts into difficult parts and shined throughout. The whole story is a real what if scenario about a real danger in space travel. It is done tastefully, and with just the right amount of suspense and drama. I hated to see it end so abruptly.

Computers have certainly come a long way in the film industry. Wasn't too long ago that you could really tell when it was really the actors and when it wasn't. Pretty pictures of space, but I don't think I would want to be up there with all the junk flying around. Movie was OK, spouse who is interested in space thought it was great. Would recommend, but just don't expect too much.

The 3d and special affects are fantastic. I found the movie riveting and like a dollar coaster ride. Just when thinks settle down,something else happens. If you suspend belief, the movie was great. It looked like they actually filmed it in outer space. Even little things like floating objects added to the realism. I would recommen this to anyone interested in Space flight.

It’s a space adventure movie with some very nice space scenes and some interesting action scenes. I felt the story line was good, but the ending could have been better. Bottom line: it was definitely not “The Best Movie of the Year” as what was written on the DVD’s cover but it was entertaining.
