Overall I thought this movie was very entertaining with some interesting tense moments sprinkled in. There were a couple of plot points that felt lie cop outs that were used to get the story to play out a certain way, that seemed fake. But otherwise, I still really enjoyed this movie, which was a fresh change from much of the other drull that is being released lately.

GRAVITY gives you everything: thrilling action, awesome visuals, incomparable cinematic spectacle, a terrifying scenario, an exciting adventure, and a masterpiece of minimalist characterization. They all combine in one pedal-to-the-metal slam-bam technically perfect movie that gives you equal shots of hope and hopelessness from the first frame to the very last.

Even if you don't like the story or acting, the effects and camera work are absolutely staggering. This is a movie that changes the way people make movies. While "All Is Lost" handles the idea of a person alone against a hostile environment better, few movies can compare visually to "Gravity." There's a reason it was the winning-est film at the Academy Awards.

I saw this movie in IMAX 3D prior to purchasing the 3D bluray. I was hoping that my opinion of the actual storyline would change once I had a chance to watch the movie again in 3D. Unfortunately, I didn't find the story any more compelling the second time around, but I do consider this movie to be a reference title when demonstrating my television's 3D capabilities.

The movie holds up and is still enthralling. The diamond luxe edition is nice and sleek with a magnetic opening. It offers the ability to watch with only natural sound and no music. But half of this movie is the score in my opinion and the bad half are the multitude of shallow breaths and shrieks. I got this edition to match the interstellar edition.

"Gravity" Blu-ray is a real stunner visually. Space dramatics with clarity of image and incredibly real sound effects. Through all of the floating action , gravity -free , the acting makes the movie believable and very personal. Keeping this a human drama amidst the credible science must have very difficult for the production and direction side of the movie.

This movie is amazing! The Cinematography is just brilliant. I can't even imagine how long it took to edit this movie and and how big the computers that edited it are. Immediately from the first 8 minutes of the movie my friend and i started getting anxiety and it lasts through the entire movie! We kept thinking what we would do in that situation. Must See!

I knew nothing about this movie but i knew that most of the reviews on the movie where very positive. After watching the movie i can say i am sad i did not watch this movie in the theater to get the full effect of 3d. It is a great movie and Clooney and Bullock where awesome in it. Stop reading this and go buy the movie you will not be disappointed at all.

I got this for my dad and he loves it! He even let us watch it before we gave it to him and I'm glad he did. It keeps your attention and has a great cast. I refuse to provide a review that gives anything away, but go ahead and give it a try - you'll see why it won so many awards! I didn't watch any of the extras before my dad got it, so I can't rate those.

I wanted to try out my new blue ray 3D player on my new Samsung 65" TV do I thought a movie like this one would be cool to see and since it won some awards and I had a coupon for my rewards, bought it. Very happy with the picture quality of the DVD and it looked so real life, like I was in the movie. High priced for 3D DVD but I am happy with my purchase.

This was my first Blu-Ray purchase for my big-screen television. Wow! What clarity Blu-Ray has and the special effects in this movie is awesome. I was so taken by the clarity and special effect, it took me 20 minutes to finally sit down to watch it fir I couldn't move from the screen. It grabbed my attention and wouldn't let me go. Great movie.

Gravity is definitely one of the best pictures of 2013. Alfonso Cuaron and crew have created a visual masterpiece that nearly makes you believe it was actually filmed in space. Sandra Bullock is terrific, and George Clooney is George Clooney. Not as awe-inspiring to watch in the living room as it was in 3D on the big screen, but the Blu-Ray is still impressive.

The photography is great - reminds me of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The vastness and unfriendliness of space comes through as both awesome and threatening. The characters draw you in to what they are feeling. Good story - keeps moving, never lets you rest, but some of the free moving sequences in space are a bit "superhero"-ish. I enjoyed the movie very much.

I had heard a lot of positive reviews from people when this movie first came out in the theater. After finally watching it, altough I want completely blown away by it, it was one of the better films to come out in 2013. Great acting, along with shots that I've never seen in a movie before, combine to make this a rather enjoyable viewing. Definitely recommended.

Alfonso Cuaron directing and vision attains an outstanding achievement in cinematography. The movie draws you in and does not release your emotions until the main character emerges from the final scene, making an allegorical reference to the human evolutionary steps of emerging from water, walking on fours and then finally achieving a stand-up posture.

Alfonso Cuaron is a master storyteller and the 3D Blu Ray is well worth the spend. For those that have 3D TVs and always have friends come over that want to see what the technology is like, this will be your new show piece. The transfer is so clear and clean that when combined with the 3D it really is a powerful experience. Definitely a must have.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie for its ability to impress on visuals. The sound editing is also a huge compliment to the story, being that it's accurately portrayed to real-life science. The story is overall [mostly] weak, but it's still a great story, nonetheless. I more so wanted to own the move for the 3D experience; which is pretty amazing.

Gravity was really good. It makes you feel what its like to be in space. If you have issues with motion sickness you should not watch. its very viseral with the effects and what transpires. The actors are pretty good, not a big bullock fan,but her and Clooney are good enough. I dont think I've ever seen zero G done so well in a film. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Gravity has some great action scenes and special effects but to me it is more of a character study of a woman who is fighting against all odds for her life. Stress, anxiety, and moments of oxygen deprivation lead to some interesting introspection of her life before being trapped in outer space but she finds motive to keep fighting to get back to earth.

movie is well made technically and performances of actors were award worthy. Visually stunning with great use of settings. It has both intense feeling of confinement in space station and great expanse of open outer space. The danger of situation was very well depicted. All in all it was a well crafted film and a excellent experience. Would watch again.
