An amazing movie. Incredible cinematic effects that truly relate the violence and silent destruction in space. This movie breaks lots of new ground in filmmaking. The picture and effects are breathtaking on bluray. An amazing job by the actors and producers alike. I truly recommend this movie and am very happy with my purchase.

Spectacular! Nonstop suspense. Constantly on the edge of your seat. Never a dull moment. This movie could have easily been 2-21/2 hours long. Bullock was absolutely awesome and very convincing. She made you feel that you were in space with her. This special effects and cinematography were some of the best that I have ever seen.

Gravity is a must see film. The cinematography and special effects are some of the best ever put to film. It won seven academy awards and deserved every one of them. The picture on the Blu-ray is top notch and the sound quality is incredible an excellent choice to show off your home theater to your friends. Highly recommended.

Special effects were great. Made you believe they were really out there in space. Sandra Bullock is an extremely expressive actress. She's fantastic in every role she plays. George Clooney is certainly no slouch either. Sorry he didn't make it back to Earth with Sandra, but that was just one more reason the movie was so riveting.

Awesome movie. maybe the best "reality-based" space movie since Apollo 13. if you saw it in 3D in theaters, you know what's up. It was the best 3D movie I've seen in theaters. it actually makes you want to buy a 3D home set up just for this movie alone. cool movie, check it out. a must have on Blu Ray and 3D blu ray if you have it.

Awesome! This movie brings you into a silent world filled with the perils of space travel and technology mishaps. The views of earth from space are breath taking when combined when with some of the best use of 3D ever. This movie is a 90-minute roller coaster ride from beginning to end. Must be seen in 3D to be appreciated.

I thought it was intriguing movie that had a lot of symbolism that might be over looked by some. The tension never lets up. The main character is always moving from one bad situation to another. You will wonder if she will ever make it back to earth at all. It’s a good movie to watch and one for sure that the critics will like to.

Great quality picture and sound. I bought a copy with both a DVD and a Blu-Ray disk. I really try to buy disks that included both a Blu-Ray and a DVD copy. That way we can keep the Blu-ray in the man cave with the Blu-ray player and 'big' tv'. While the DVD can 'float' upstairs between the kids and the living room.

Once I saw this movie in a state of the art theater, i knew I had to get it for myself. I upgraded my television and got a blu-ray player and I was not disappointed. The movie was amazing , the acting was terrific and it's the best space based movie i've seen since 2001: A Space Odyssey. I would recommend this to anyone.

I originally saw the movie in HD and thought it would be really cool in 3D. It was everything I expected and more. The meteor storm comes right out of the TV and you feel like you have to duck. Getting a TV with 3D was a super move. I went back to Best Buy and bought Polar Express in 3D to enjoy this holiday season.

My family enjoyed this movie. The acting was great. I have to watch it again, just to see if I missed anything. Sometimes, it's better, the 2nd time around. The only thing, we were looking for someone to greet her or to find her, when she walked onto the beach. She went through so much and to just see someone, anybody....

This is an interesting and compelling story, and well done - probably a "4 star" rating for the performance and story-line. But the quality from a visual and audio standpoint in this BluRay is simply fantastic. It definitely has that, "you are there" feel to it, especially if you have a high quality audio system.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The special effects are mind blowing and the performances (especially Sandra Bullock) are magnificent. I was glued to my seat in the theatre when I first watched it. I purchased the 3D Blu-Ray when it came out. I re-watched the movie with my daughter and it still got me.

This film is stunning, a visual feast. It looks so incredibly realistic that people who are claustrophobic might not enjoy it to its fullest. The cast is small but potent and effective. But the star of the show is the visual. It looks like a NASA documentary with actual footage. One of the best movies of 2013 for sure.

The cinematography was absolutely fantastic! The way they went from the close up shots on the actors to the wide view shot of space made you appreciate the awesomeness of what space is. I know everyone isn't into sci-fi movies, but this one is worth the watch especially as this could be seen as a real life situation.

This movie is not an action movie by any means. Theres no car chases, gun battles or epic fight scenes. But it will definitely keep you on your toes. Its a different kind of action and suspense. Everything about this movie is fantastic. Its a beautiful piece of cinematography. I think everyone should give it chance!

While I heard the buzz about this movie prior to seeing it, typically high praise tends to be a let down. Not so in this case. Sandra Bullock, while not one of my favorites, did a fantastic job in displaying her acting chops. I have watched this several times since picking it up and have been entertained each time.

it's a stunning achievement in filmmaking unlike anything that's ever come before. the filmmakers have created something truly special here, in terms of technical innovation and storytelling mastery, and the visual effects, outstanding as they are, serve the script and performances at all times, just as they should

A non-stop adventure from beginning to end. This is one of the most well thought out movies that I have seen in years. You will literally find yourself holding your breath in many of the scenes as you find yourself totally immersed in this movie as you embrace the lost and alone in space scenario. Wow,what a rush!
