I did not see this at the theatre as I thought this was not a good movie. I decided to wait for the Blue Ray version and this movie rocks. Everybody on this planet should see this movie. It transcends life as you get to experience what outerspace is like. The picture of the earth is awesome too.

Fantastic movie! Saw it in IMAX 3D at the theater and was blown away. The normal sounds in a movie theater (candy wrappers, people munching popcorn, talking to each other, etc.) were completely gone. Everyone was so pulled in you could have heard a pin drop. Amazing!

I bought this for the visuals and wasn't disappointed. The 3-D at home was far superior to the theatre due to active-shutter glasses at home rather than just polarized filters in the theatre. The color and attention to detail are amazing. I'm still in awe of how they accomplished some of the effects.

The characters are ordinary people, doing extraordinary things, and under the worst possible of circumstances. And, ultimately, the viewer is left to understand we are each responsible for our survival. And a whole new appreciation of this small planet Earth, that is our home and our protector.

A great movie on a great disc — who could ask for anything more? The movie is excellent (even on a smaller screen, even non 3D — it's a great story wonderfully directed and superbly acted), and all the so-called "bells & whistles" in the disc are also interesting, informative and a lot of fun.

I liked the movie and have seen it several times since purchase. Except for about a half hour at the beginning, it is just Sandra Bullock. There are places where it is slow, but they are few and far between. A big plus is that I can watch it with my family. Shots from outer space are awesome.

this is one of the best movies from last year. the special effects were.literally-OUT OF THIS WORLD!! the acting especially Sandra Bullock was beyond belief. i would recommend this highly to any fan of suspense or science-fiction

If you enjoy an edge of your seat survival experience, overcoming the adversity of space, then this is for you. The movie clips along so well, you don't even know how long you've been at seats edge before it's done. The stunning cinematography and earth shots alone are worth this film.

Best movie of 2013! Best Director academy award well deserved! Cuaron truly maes you feel like you are out in space with the characters experiencing what they are. The visuals are the best part of movie but without bullock and Clooney the movie doesn't work good performances for both of them

A great story that showcases the intense nature of Gravity as it influences everything around it! Sandra and George offer a nice back and forth and this movie keeps you on the edge of your seat until the final moment! This Blu-ray will give your surround sound system a true workout!

This movie is like a roller coaster. Some complained about the story or plot holes or scientific inaccuracies but who cares. It's a spectacle and an adventure. Maybe for some it pulls them out of the picture but just go with it. And needless to say the audio and video are excellent.

Great movie about astronauts in space encountering a "Houston we have a problem" tragedy. The cinematography is outstanding! Clooney and Bullock make a great team of convincing astronauts trying to stay alive. 3 D really makes you feel like you are connected to the life-saving tether!

Bought this mainly for the stunning visuals. Movie truly stands out with the blu-ray format. Looks fantastic on the big screen tv. Won't give away any story details for those who have yet to see but I will say I was disappointed with the ending. Only reason I'm not giving this a five star review.

That was a good movie and I heard and read a lot about this movie. I read the reviews from actual astronauts and that they were very fascinated with with movie. I do enjoy a movie that is as close to the facts as possible. The movie still managed to surprise me, although I did have doubts.

Let's set aside the fact that much of what happens in this film is impossible. It's exciting and intimate, a rare feat in film. When something can feel both epic and personal in very intense ways, you know you have a hit! The visuals are absolutely stunning, and it's incredibly well acted.

Though it draws you in with two A-List actors in Bullock and Clooney the true star of the movie is Bullock by far and how she deals with her situation. The film quality does a great job of making you "feel " the isolation and the feeling of dread..." what if no finds me in time ". Worth owning !

I was actually suprised that I liked the story, because I thought it was going to be over-the-top kind of action and nonsense. It is a little out there for a story, but they made it work. It is an extreme story, but almost believable. The 3D was about as good as some of the IMAX 3D films.

This movie was great in the theater (picture and sound) I was surprised by how well the movie transitioned to the blu-ray. I might not have had the actual feeling of being in space similar to the theater but I found the movie was still very gripping and the space scenes still captured me.

I loved seeing behind the scenes. Really made me aware of how carefully certain scenes were choreographed. There is one scene where Sandra Bullock curls up in to a fetal position and the behind the scenes really gave me a new appreciation of how impactful that position was to the moment.

I was really excited to get this movie, and was then greatly disappointed. The cinematography and CGI are excellent, but the plot leaves much to be desired. It's not very realistic, and really isn't that interesting. Still working my way through the extras. This could have offered so much more.
