Although the movie trailer showed it to be a very intense film, I was concerned that it may have shown the best of what would be offered. The movie was exciting from beginning to end filled with many surprises. Actors were very believable and I look forward to seeing this one many times.

Sandra Bullock delivered a stellar (pun intended) performance. George Clooney played a minor role, mostly flying around in circles and trying to retell stories that his colleagues had heard over and over. The cinematography was excellent with accurate representations of the space shuttle, the ISS and the Chinese space station. The plot, however, could barely support 91 minutes. And serious liberties were taken with the technical aspects of the film. Although a satelite has been destroyed by a missile from its own government, it was in low earth orbit (LEO) where it could not cause a chain reaction. Also, the Hubble telescope, the ISS an the Chinese space stations are in completely different orbits making it impossible to travel from one to another even with a working space shuttle. Still, and exciting film.

It's rare that you get into a movie with such critically positive hype an d get what you expect but this movie with two phenomenal actors, nobody else in the movie really, delivered non stop action in the cold void of space. 3D vision was spectacular, no surprise numerous awards given!

Its a slow movie, but the photography is awesome. I think I enjoyed extras, seeing the technology employed to make the movie, just as much as the movie itself. It is slow going but I still liked it.

Thought this was going to be a boring drama of somebody hurtling away in space, but it's the opposite. First 10-15 minutes may feel a lil slow but after that it REALLY picks up. The special effects are amazing, the story and acting are equally great. This is definitely a must see movie!

A fun movie to watch. It keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. I did not realize much the symbolism of the movie until I watched some the extra features. I would suggest that you watch all of the extra features. They were all very interesting.

Great movie and well deserving of the awards it received. I would definitely suggest grabbing a big huge bowl of popcorn and clicking off the lights to watch this film. It is a nail biter. If there were more movies like this being made in the future then I will be buying them as well.

Unfortunately I missed this movie on the big screen, and was loaned a DVD copy that I watched on a plasma. I knew 15 minutes into the movie that this was truly 3D worthy, so I ordered it in 3D and was rewarded with a movie meant for that format. Stellar!! Bullock looked great too, bonus!!

I didn't want to see this film when it came out but once I saw the 1st 20 mins of it I was completely hooked! WOW!! All the acting was spot on and wanted to watch it again as soon as the credits started rolling. If you have doubts?? Don't! Watch it and you'll say the same thing, awesome!!

Gravity is a special FX masterpiece. I've seen thousands of films with special FX and nothing compares to Gravity. It's as if you are really on this "roller coaster" ride with the main characters! If you want to watch a great film with high energy suspense , this is the film for you.

Love to watch science fiction movies, planet earth as backdrop is fantastic, watched the special features- the making of Gravity, and it's so amazing how they put everything together to produce a worthwhile movie like this, a great science fiction movie since 2001, A Space Odyssey.

I saw this movie in 3D when it came out in the theaters and it shot pretty nicely. The 3D effects are a must for the movie as the overall story/plot are pretty dull. This movie is great for showing off that big 3D TV you may have at home. If you do, you won't be disappointed with movie.

Visual effects are outstanding, film actually shows what you would go through when in space. Sandra Bullock finally comes to terms with her daughters death. The situation she is placed in helps her learn how important it is for her that she can survive and how her life has a meaning.

I never got around to the theater while it was showing but I'm glad. I will get to see this movie again at my wish now that I own it. I picked up the 3D version and while I'm sure it's not the same as viewing it on the big screen, I'm sure it's as good as it can for a home 3D screen.

I liked the movie and it was a nice choice for 3D. There is not a great selection for 3D movies unless you are under 12 years old. My only criticism is that the story was pretty simplistic. I would have liked to have more interaction between the astronauts to expand on the story line.

The special effects on this movie movie alone are enough reason to buy this movie. The 3D is really good but what I really love is sound or sometimes lack of sound. Sometimes there is is so much going on in the background and there is complete silence. I really recommend this movie.

I saw Gravity in the theater twice, both times IMAX 3-D. Only word can describe it: FANTASTIC. You not only think they are in space; you think you're in space with them! The cinematography is fantastic, the story well told, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

For us 3D lovers this is the movie to have. You can keep this one next to your advitar and Transformers Dark of the Moon blu rays and other 3d movies shot with real 3d cameras. This movie really utilizes the 3d effect with a very natural feel to it. Sit back relax and enjoy this wild ride

I purchased this movie because I thought that the 3D version would be outstanding. The movie itself was great, but I found the 3D to be really disappointing. Many times, I felt that I was not even WATCHING a 3D movie. I would recommend the movie, but I would NOT recommend the 3D version.

This film was meant for 3D, and Best Buy has it at a great price. It's one of the titles I would recommend for showing off your 3D system. It's also a compelling and dramatic space film. It's a title that should be in everyone's collection.
