This movie got rave reviews, and was amazing in the theater. When you take a step back from the hype, while it is visually stunning, the plot is a little thin. Which is why the 3D is a must, that is what really makes it amazing

What makes this movie is the soundtrack. Even more so if you get the Atmos Dolby copy of this movie. However even with out the amazing sound if played back through regular tv speakers the movie is still pretty good.

Overall, I liked it. I know Sandra Bullock was nominated for an Oscar for her role in this movie. I love Sandra but I did not see anything Oscar worthy. Story is unique. The special effects very good. I didn't like the open ended finale.

The filming in 3D was one of the best I've seen! The pictures of earth was spectacular. The characters looked like they were in space...it was cool. The storyline was a bit far-fetched but it's a movie. Sandra Bullock did a fantastic job!

Gravity was my favorite film of 2013. It was one of those rare movies that you experience instead of just watch. Amazing visuals, acting, directing, score and sound effects. Probably the best film set in space that I have ever seen.

It's a wild roller coaster ride from beginning to end. Expertly paced and directed to keep you engaged and engrossed until the end when you feel it's safe to take a breath.

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are very liked actors in our house. That's really the only thing enjoyable about this movie. Maybe seeing it on a big screen is what's missing but to us we never really got into the story of this film.

This movie has you from the very start.. It ends with you wanting more, kinda felt like something was missing! My girlfriend and I looked at each other after it ended and said " that's it??" lol it felt like it was only 30 min long

This was a good film. It was a bit short and left something to be desired in terms of character development. The film was not shot in 3D, but was produced with that new software or whatever that's almost as good as films made for 3D.

This movie is amazing. Great story and the special effects are great. One of very few movies worth watching in 3D. The bonus features are.. well, a great bonus. You'll understand why Alfonso Cuarón won the Oscar for Best Director.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie in the theaters and now looking forward to watching again at home. With the benefit of having a great Panasonic Plasma 3DTV, I will be able to see the amazing visuals contained in this box office hit.

Wow, what a well done movie. Not just a movie about the adventure and dangers of space exploration, but an overall thriller that happens to take place in space. Its the movie I've been waiting for since I was a child. A MUST own!

This movie is one for the decades! The acting is surreal, the plot totally believable and the cinematography as if you were with them. This is a movie I will watch many times as the pace keeps you guessing. Definitely one to own!

It is a good bit of acting to keep your attention with only 2 actors (characters). The cenamatography is outstNding and does some of the lifting to keep it interesting. It does get dull at times but is worth seeing through to the end.

Special effects bonanza. Really good acting. Even though the plot is actually possible, it got a little unbelievable at times. The movie had enough action to keep me interested and entertained and was loaded with dramatic effect.

Cuaron will be winning best director and the film will win best cinematography. No home screen can really do this film justice if you had the opportunity to see it in IMAX, but it's still the most beautiful looking movie of 2013.

The 3D is breathtaking. I do not watch much 3D but this one blew me away. Worth the extra $5.00. It will be watched multiple times. You know the movie. The 3D makes the difference. Also, four different formats, pretty convenient.

Sandra Bullock proved in this film that the Oscar in "The Blind Side," was not a fluke. She is simply magnificent in this film, plus the visuals are stupendous. THis should've won best picture over the "Slave" film.

This was a great drama. Although setting did not change much, the movie kept things moving. If you are afraid of space, this is definitely not the movie for you because it showed a lot of risks associated with space exploration.

An excellent multiple oscar winning film that is a tremendous achievement in cinematography and 3D visuals. The story is also exciting and easy to relate to, despite the scenario most of us will never come close to experiencing.
