Nothing compares to Cannibal Holocaust, which features a film-within-a-film titled The Green Inferno - which this movie is based. Horrible script, acting, etc. Save your money. I'm a fan of Roth, but this just sucked.

Based on a cannibalistic tribe in the amazon. Boring, horrible plot, and horrible ending. Not for the faint of heart.

This movie was pretty bad the story line was slow the topic was offensive don't watch it with your kids

This film is not supposed to be High Theatre. It is supposed to a b class movie based upon the Slasher, Zombie and Cannibal flicks of the 50s through the 80s. This is what it is ( Cannibal flick wise) and it succeeds on all levels. You will be shocked, grossed out and even laugh in some places. Recommended as long as you know what you are getting.

In Eli Roths latest project a group of activist who are trying to save the rain forest and the tribe living in it end up crash landing in the amazon and taken prisoners by the very same natives they are trying to protect. The film stars Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Kirby Bliss Blankton and a cameo appearance by Sky Ferierra. It is directed by the horror king himself Eli Roth. I think its a shame Eli didn't make a cameo appearance any who the film itself i thought was very well done. It did receive mix feelings by critics but then again this movie heads toward making you feel discomfort in which the film greatly does accomplish. Has many likable characters and when you see your favorite cast mate killed off you are heart broken.

-Great Name for a Great Movie-do not eat before or during this movie-just enjoy this well filmed journey into Total and Unforgettable Horror-Location and Music-Perfect-Some of Eli Roths characters are JERKS so that makes the movie fun when it's their turn-2 characters you will love-oh well-see it and then talk about it-A Disturbing Ride-Good Luck- I Loved It-

Never been a huge fan of Eli Roth but "The Green Inferno" has its glory moments. Not that great on the acting side, but great for the gore.

I couldn't wait to see this as it reminds me of the older cannibal films. This one does not disappoint!

Good action and suspense sequences. Good story. Would recommend.
