Posted .Hello RichardE. We regret learning of the difficulties you encounter with your pressure washer. Please find below a list of troubleshooting suggestions for your consideration. Clean Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to fail to function normally. Removing Air from The Line / Bleeding Out the Unit: Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. Lastly, ensure the water source is fully opened and is at least 45PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. Please note this product has a three-year warranty from the date of purchase. If you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, contact us through Live Chat on Greenworks Tools website or call 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). So, our experts can discuss your experience; please have your pressure washer with you along with the model and serial number to complete troubleshooting to ensure quick resolution is provided.

Posted .Hello KaseeS - We appreciate you taking the time to rate the Greenworks Pressure Washer. We do apologize for your experience with your Pressure Washer. Each of the spray tips has a different spray pattern. Before starting any cleaning job, determine the best spray tip for the job. The following chart offers some general guidelines to help you choose the best spray tip for your application. 25º – green nozzle: Uses a medium angle of spray for washing sensitive and soft surfaces (deck, fence, aluminum etc.) 40º – white nozzle: largest angle of spray used for cleaning surfaces quickly and for rinsing. Turbo nozzle rotates in a zero to 15-degree spray pattern in a circular motion to break down tough dirt and grime. The spray pattern can cover area of 4 to 8 inches wide, depending on a distance between the tip and the surface being cleaned. When using the pressure washer for the car, it is always best to start with a plain water rinse to remove any loose mud, salt, or bugs. For this, you will want a 25 (green) or 40 (white) degree nozzle. Do not go any lower than that. You will risk damage to the paint with a 0- or 15-degree nozzle. Please test out the spray nozzle before use to choose the right spray for the job.

Terrible Motor
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great for about 10-15 minutes but then it intermittently works. Posted .Hi Buyer. Thank you for your review. When this occurs with all pressure washers, you simply need to bleed out the unit. This means to let the water run naturally through the unit without the motor power. This helps move any dirt, debris or air pockets that may be stuck in the air hose. If you have not already returned the unit, please contact us directly so that we may be able to assist with troubleshooting. We can be reached by chat online on the Greenworks website or give us a call directly at 1-888-90-WORKS (888.909.6757) and we look forward to turning your experience around.

Posted .Hello SkiKoala. Thank you for choosing Greenworks for your lawn care needs. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations. When selecting a nozzle tip for the correct job, please view Pressure Washer Tip video (https://youtu.be/OwlDalSKVkY) for reference. Our 1900 is perfect for light- to medium-duty clean-up of windows, vehicles, grills, patio furniture and decking. The higher the PSI on a product, the more intense and pressurized the water stream becomes and the heavier job you'll be able to tackle. With a higher PSI does come a higher price point but depending on your workload, it may be necessary. Not only does it make the job easier, but it is safer to use the right tool for the job. We hope the above information has been helpful. We have a variety of options for a range of household lawncare needs. If you would like more detail on what units may be best suited for your needs, please contact us through Live Chat direct on our site or by phone at 1-888-909-6757. We’re here to help.

Posted .Hello Laneydutton - We are sad to hear the unit has not met you needs. If your pressure washer has no pressure, start by changing your nozzle to a brand-new tip. The tips that come with this unit will likely and effectively reach 8 - 10' with adequate pressure. There are two tips which are pink and blue in color. These tips are meant for second story use. We recommend buying the second story kit to provide more effective coverage. Please note, the nozzle orifice size is what will determine the pressure output of your machine. If you require further assistance, please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 or start a live chat on Greenworks Tools website.

Skeptical at first but I’m a believer now
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first saw the Greenworks products I thought they would be just another name trying to get in the electric power tool game, but this pressure washer looked like it would be exactly what I needed if the claims were accurate, so I went for it. Turns out, they’re pretty darn good products. In the box is not a lot of paperwork or manuals, just some quick guides and some detailed instructions but the product is pretty simple, so there’s not a whole lot to read. I took a quick glance over the reading material and unboxed all the parts. (photo) If you’ve used any type of pressure washer before, you probably know how this works. Hook your garden hose up to the in end and the included high pressure house on the out end. This connects to the gun and add a tip that works for your project and you’re set. I will say, the gun feels a little flimsy. It’s not nerf gun light and cheap but it does have a lighter plastic feel to it. This is unfortunately pretty common with all pressure washers, so this shouldn’t be sending you away, but it does mean you have to be more gentle with it if you want the parts to last. Once I knew how it all worked, I quickly did a test outside with the highest pressure tip for concrete and other hard surfaces with a warning it can do some serious damage to your surface if it’s too soft. (“test” photo) This ended up being true, when I used it on painted cinder blocks, the paint did start to chip away in areas. So suffice it to say, this can provide you with plenty of pressure for most jobs. After a bit more testing, I switched it to the round disk cleaning tip because honestly, I always assume these don’t work that well. However, I was very wrong. This was perfect for doing the driveway and went SO much faster than using the other tips. It was like mopping my driveway. You can see the before and after photo where I was able to get a rough cleaning done in about 5 min or less, if it wasn’t getting dark and cold, I would have finished the driveway easily without getting tired or sore or anything like that. This tool will make deep cleaning the driveway and brick on my house a breeze. Speaking of bricks, my house is half brick, half panel siding. I can easily switch tips and clean the dirt off the siding and brick and probably clean my whole house in a day next spring. Unfortunately, winter has come early and I can’t do outdoor cleaning much anymore, but I plan to wash my car with a gentle tip and the included soap dispenser will be great to have for that. I wasn’t able to test a full car wash just yet because of the weather shift unfortunately, but the water did flow through and work as intended so I’m confident that all the included attachments will work. As far as quality, I think there is plenty of power to do the average pressure wash jobs. The unit is surprisingly small and light so it’s a breeze to carry around the outside of the house, down the driveway, etc or even taking it with you to another location. I know the company sells a version with wheels and a rack and I guess that would be nice, but I like how this is about the size of a fishing tackle box and can be carried around easily. OVERALL I really enjoy this pressure washer and can’t wait to get my home exterior a good bath. Washing cars, driveways, homes, decks, or even stripping paint, this greenworks pressure washer will get the job done!

Posted .Hello NicholasW - We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your pressure washer. Here you will find some troubleshooting suggestions for you to try. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Lastly, ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 50 PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. If you have tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or start a live chat on Greenworks Tools website. Good for light to medium outdoor cleaning
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Greenworks 1900 PSI electric pressure washer is great for light to medium duty jobs. Out of the box, assembly is fairly simple and straightforward; assemble the spray nozzle, connect the nozzle hose and your hose, and plug it it in. The two primary nozzles (25 degrees and 40 degrees) store on the unit for easy convenience. The unit is also easy to use, with just two buttons for on and off. If the unit is off, you’ll get a very light spray if you pull the trigger and, quite obviously, if you switch it on you’ll get the pressure wash. The unit is also fairly quiet, and the compressor only runs when the trigger is pulled. This machine is perfect for washing cars, and it produces a carwash like experience. With the 40 degree nozzle, you get a spray that seems identical to what you would get at the car wash. The kit comes with a soap tank that can be attached to the end of the nozzle. Add some automotive soap, and it makes soaping up the car a breeze. I think the unit will end up being a time and money saver, since I can wash my car quickly at home. In terms of other outdoor cleaning, you get a 25 degree nozzle, a high pressure , narrow nozzle, and a surface cleaner. The surface cleaner really speeds up cleaning up dirt and debris off the sidewalk, and the narrow nozzle works well for hitting those hard to reach places (for example, the crevices and edges that have collected dead grass). We also used the pressure washer to clean our vinyl fence, which was not cleaned or maintained well by the previous owner. The fence has several areas where mold and mildew have developed, and we were able to blast away most of it just using the pressure. Overall, this unit is really good for those looking for a light to medium duty pressure washer for outdoor cleaning.
