Works good although I really don’t think it creates 170mph force.

Reason rated a 4 is the battery just does not last if you have to run on turbo mode for wet or heavy leaves.

Strong and powerful blower. Blower had normal use and was never abused. Fan blade broke after probably 15 hours of use. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Greenworks for repair or warranty and nothing, they never answer by phone or email. They have a live chat that is useless. I will never buy anything from Greenworks again.

Light weight the 170 MPH 730 CFM might be pushing it a little

This battery powered leaf blower comes with a battery and its associated charger. This brushless blower puts out some strong air speed blowing up to 170+ miles per hour. The first thing I noticed when using this unit was how quiet it was. I couldn’t use my older gas-powered blower until after 9am due to its noise, and of course I wanted to be a good neighbor. My older gas unit, at 23.9cc, could be pretty darn loud at about 98db. It also put out just short of 440 CFM (cubic feet per minute) while the Greeworks puts out 730CFM. One big issue for me is not having to deal with fuel. I can’t speak to how many times I’ve filled up a 1-gallon gas can, added oil to it for my 2-stroke equipment, and then had to add a gas conditioner to keep the fuel from going bad. Oh yeah, and spilling the gas on my hands, the floor or grass, on the equipment, etc. Yes, yes, I can be a bit clumsy at times. Upon receipt of this unit, I first gave the battery a full charge. I can’t say that I know for sure how long a complete charge takes or how full the battery was when delivered, but it appeared fully charged after a few hours. The battery and its charger are noticeably larger compared to other ones I’ve used, although none of the others are 80v units. And, the charger itself is noticeably louder. In the end, the loudness is pretty much irrelevant for me as it will be stored in my garage except when being used. The charger itself has a green light on the side that flashes as the battery charges. And when battery is fully charged, the green light turns a solid and quits flashing. The 80v battery itself has a battery level button on its front that causes up to 3 green lights on the battery to illuminate, or not. Three green lights means that it is more than 75% capacity, while 2 green lights means 35% to 75%, and 1 green light indicates less than 35%. No green lights indicate that it needs immediate charging. I did some research and found that this battery is compatible with over 75 other Greenworks EV products. Now, unlike a gas-powered unit that can be refilled with fuel on the spot, the Greeworks will always require a battery with sufficient juice. And the battery that comes included with this unit has about a 30-minute life before it needs recharging. Thirty minutes may be more than adequate for many of us, while if you have a large area that needs attending, you’ll either need to halt work to recharge the battery, or you’ll need to purchase replacement batteries and charge them in advance. This isn’t an issue unique to Greenworks which is why I have a multi-charger with five batteries for my hand tools. For my needs, however, I think its 30-minute capacity will be more than adequate for my needs. This leaf blower is variable speed, meaning that the harder you press the unit’s trigger, the stronger the air flow. I’ll be using this unit for a number of purposes, including blowing out my garage, doing yard work, ejecting lint from my dryer’s outside wall connection, and who knows what else. Based on my limited use of this blower, I find that it is no louder than my previous gas-powered leaf blower, powerful, and acceptable weight-wise. Just weeks before placing this on order, I did some in-store research on EV leaf blowers and found that this unit is right center-pack cost-wise. Thus far I am happy with it, and will be giving it a 5-star review.

Works about the same as my old 56 volt Worx blower.

This blower is suitable for small areas and a short time of use. The battery runs only less than 20 mins. But it has high CFM and MPH that have good power to cleaning.

The battery operated tools game used to be weak, especially when it came to blowers. Greenworks does a great job allowing the user to go cordless with their 80 volt battery powered blower. This blower puts out a lot of air! I have used some other brands that were only 60 volts and I must say, I feel like the power from this 80 volt blower is noticeably better. The design is sleek and one of my favorite parts about this blower is that it can be assembled and disassembled with ease. The air tubing comes off the blower motor body with a simple push of a button and a pull of the tubing. I also like that the blower has a lever on it that allows you to adjust the power so that the blower stays on without having to hold the trigger the entire time. This blower also has a "turbo" button on top that will temporarily boost the air output from the blower while the button is being pressed. This is handy for items that just do not want to budge from the standard air output (maybe wet leaves or other wet debris). Now that I have mentioned things I like, let's talk about a few of the minor issues I have with this blower. First of all, the charger is very loud. After inserting the battery into the included charger, the cooling fan immediately kicks on and, from my observation, seems to stay on for the duration of the time it takes to charge the battery. This may not be a big issue for most people, especially if the charger is going in a garage, outside, or utility room, but it is something worth noting. The other issue I have with this blower is that, coupled with the somewhat oversized 80 volt battery (it is pretty big), it is pretty darn heavy. When the battery is inserted, the blower just doesn't feel balanced in your hand. It seems, in my opinion, to lean forward causing the user to have to adjust the angle by manipulating their wrist. This may become uncomfortable to some people with a prolonged period of usage. Over all, I feel like this is a great blower and it can certainly tackle most yard projects you throw up against it!

Had this for three weeks and have used it several times. It works well. Seems to have enough power to replace my gasoline powered ECHO blower.

Just got it in last few days. The specs label on the package are different. For example, 27cc vs 31cc (listed on Bestbuy website). P/N is also different. Will need to double check before using it.

Powerful, simple and well-built. I am moving all of my yard equipment to electric, and the Greenworks brand is the one I like the most. Simple to use, batteries that are easy to recharge, and lightweight, my leaf blower and hedge trimmer make quick work of moving leaves and yard debris, cleaning up the yard, and trimming perennials and shrubs for the winter. When my current gas mower and snowblower finally kick the can, I will replace them with Greenworks models.

Too heavy for me to use. Lots of power. Great deal for a man lol
