The Greenworks Blower is fine although battery holds only 20 minutes each time it is charged.

Works as advertised, battery lasts long after charging

Worked for a mew months now its making a loud noise and vibrating when i turn it on .

Battery life is good enough for a small yard clean up.

Was super excited to get this in the “Deal of the Day” deals. The battery wouldn’t lock itself in place. It would keep sliding out. Returning it to store. The two stars is because I have friends who are using this and like it.

I've been a Greenworks user for years now and have an older cordless Greenworks blower that I was very happy with, but it used a smaller battery that didn't last all that long. When I saw this new 80V Blower, I was eager to try it out. First off, the box contains 3 manuals: one for the blower, one for the battery and one for the charger. Im not sure why Greenworks did than but I assume it's because they offer a higher amp battery option and a quicker charger to buy. Would have been easier just to combine the manuals, but that's not really important. Inside is also the main blower unit, a funnel tube and a tapered nozzle attachment. There is the 80V, 2.5ah battery as well as a charger. Putting the blower together is super easy and the funnel and nozzle attach snugly, so the blower as a whole feels pretty solid. The plastic seems relatively beefy and thick so it should hold up well against dings or drops. The blower also has a foot built in that keeps it stable and roll-over-free when placed down on the ground. It weights about 9 pounds which isn't too bad for a cordless blower but the weight is distributed forward so it naturally tips down. My previous Greenworks blower was more evenly balanced which I prefer. Since the 80V blower tips down, it feels much heaver to me. Others may like that it tips down but personally, I don't. One other feature that my older blower had was a handle on the front of the blower. It made it easier to hold the blower is other positions and I wish they had retained that for this new blower. The battery pack has battery level lights and a check battery level button so it's easy to monitor just how much power is left. The charger also has a status light to show if the battery is charging, charged or if there is an issue with the battery. It also has a cooling fan built in, so it's not a silent charger. Performance wise, it's rated at 730 CFM/170mph which is very high and It has a superior brushless motor which is less prone to overheating. After charging the battery up and sliding it into the blower housing, I was off and running. There are 3 trigger options to choose from. It has a variable speed trigger, so the harder it's squeezed, the higher the power. It also has a Cruise Control lever that locks the speed in and you don't need to hold the trigger down. The lever is also speed adjustable and I think it's my favorite thing about this blower. Lastly, there is a Turbo button that once pressed, pushes the blower to it's maximum. I am very impressed with the blowers performance. It makes very quick work of the leaves and debris around my place. It's noticeably more powerful than my previous blower even though the old blower blew air at a faster mph. That tapered nozzle really makes a difference. As with most cordless blowers, this one is very loud, especially in Turbo mode. But with that variable trigger, it shuts off instantly once the trigger is released. I had to research battery duration online to see what figures the manufacturer posted. With the included 2.5ah battery, It seems to last about 20 minutes on high speed and about 12 minutes on Turbo. For serious yard work, thats not that long but since it's so its CFM is so high, you may not to run it at such high speeds and thus extending the battery life. Overall, its a very effective blower and Im quite impressed with the results it produces. But for me, the forward tipping weight distribution and the lack of a forward handle keeps it from scoring a perfect 5 stars.

WHILE I BELIEVED NEVER TO GIVE A POOR RATING ON ANY PRODUCT. THIS ONE DEFINITELY DESERVES A -100(A NEGATIVE 100). THIS PRODUCT LASTED THROUGH 2 USES, AND THAT'S IT. WILL BE RETURNING ASAP.

Seems like a good profuct but the third time I used it the start switch quit working. Returned it.

I'm a Greenworks fan however I purchased this model at the end of October and the fan has already cracked. Best Buy should extend the exchange of items like this to at least 90 days.

This is the second battery powered leaf blower I've owned and I'm very happy with it. Upon unboxing, this was super easy to assemble. I wouldn't even say there's anything to assemble really. It's more so just attaching the nozzle to the body unit, and the extension tube to the nozzle if you want. The battery will need charged before first use, but I was really impressed with how quickly it charged. I plugged it in and I want to see no less than 20 minutes it was fully charged. My only "complaint" is how loud the power supply is when it's charging. It startled me at first. I charged it in my living room, so next time I'll just charge it in a room where I can't hear the noise too much. As far as usage goes, I've used this probably 5 times so far and I haven't had to charge it yet. I don't have a huge yard and am not doing any intense leaf blowing, so I might be out of the norm on usage time. It says it lasts about an hour if you're using high power and using turbo. The battery seems strong and durable. I love that it offers a turbo function, and in general a variety of settings for speed. The extension tube is nice to get into cracks and crevices that are a little harder to clean. My own personal favorite feature is the cruise control setting so my poor carpel tunneled hands don't have to hold in a trigger while using the blower, haha! Overall, super happy with this product! It gets the job done in a quick and comfortable fashion and I love that it's better for the environment than a gasoline operated one!

My husband lives this blower - powerful and string enough but its missing the shoulder strap hnfortunately:(

Another thing I liked was that the air intake is on both sides and does not get clogged if your clothes gets close to it, as some electric blowers do. I used this blower four times before it malfunctioned. Took it back to Best Buy for an exchange, and was told that Best Buy no longer stands behind this product for more than 14 days. What a joke.

My item was clearly a used returned item. Box looked open and retapped. Nothing was wrapped up inside, the charger had scratches like the battery had been charged several times. You could tell it was used by looking at the item and serial numbers did not match.

Overall, this blower is pretty good! The design is nice and the actual item itself is easy to carry if you're used to doing yard work or work around the home in general. I like not having to deal with gas anymore and the fact that there are less intricate parts that have the possibility of going bad. No hassle to start it up and no messing with wires. It comes with a decently sized battery that gives a good amount of juice. However, I would recommend getting an extra battery and a fast charger if you plan on using it consistently or for large areas. It does keep a charge for quite a bit on low, but I hardly use the low setting so I found myself running out of batter sooner than I would like. Performance wise it does not leave anything to be desired. It does a great job of blowing and is rather strong. It comes with a nozzle that clicks into place for a more concentrated flow, which is really nice, but make sure it clicks into place before you start it up. I learned that the hard way.

Product came delivered used and was ordered as new. Box taped and inside contents showed usage.

Returned within a week. I have mostly Ego products but have GW a shot and they are way underperforming.

Bought as brand new item it came as open box and damaged. One of the batteries charger contacts was bent 90 degrees. Poor design. I returned it for refund.

Battery last only 10 min in slow mode. Turbo mode just 5 min. Its a cheap crap not a powerful blower.

I have an electric blower that I've used for several years. It's pretty heavy, doesn't really blow that hard and obviously have to deal with a long extension cord. So when I got this battery powered blower, I have to say I wasn't expecting a whole lot. It had good reviews, but I didn't realize how well it worked until I tried it. It's super simple to use. You just snap on the blower tube (and the extension if you want), stick the battery in and pull the trigger. So our 8lbs dog was standing a good 10-15 feet away and I decided I'd play with her by blowing some air at her. I obviously wanted to be careful so I only slightly pulled the trigger. Well she looked like she was about to get blown across the living room. (She loved it though!) So this thing is way more powerful than I expected. Again, a slight pull of the trigger looked like it was equivalent to when your dog has their head out the window going 60 mph down the road. It is rated at 170mph max and I'm sure it reaches that. A full pull of the trigger and you can blow away even wet leaves and grass. And if you have a really tough situation and are daring enough, it has the "turbo" mode you can use, but hold on tight. It's powerful enough for blowing sticks, small rocks, etc. Using the turbo mode will deplete the battery faster, but I don't see many situations where you would need it for what this is meant for. If your trying to do commercial landscaping work, this isn't what you want - it's not meant for that. But if you have leaves, grass clippings, etc. whether their wet or dry, this will get the job done easily. Battery life is going to very use-based dependent. I was able to clean up leaves and grass (dry) on my quarter acre sized lot and had 2 bars left on the battery meter. It took me about 25 minutes to do the whole thing, but I wasn't running the blower continuously for that time and not at full pull of the trigger. The manufacturer states 60 minutes of run time on low, and from my usage I believe that to be accurate. Obviously if your running it continuously on high or turbo that will run the battery down considerably faster. But if that is your going to be your typical use case, just get an extra battery to keep as a backup. You'll still be at or below what you'd spend on a good gas powered blower. Either that or take a break and stick the battery on the charger. It takes about 20 minutes to get about halfway charged. As far as weight, is has a little heft to it due to the battery, but it's lighter than the electric blower I have and certainly lighter than gas powered. So it's easy enough to handle and use. The best things about it are the power and the convenience. You just take the battery off the charger, stick it in and your ready to go. No dealing with long extension cords or making sure you have gas, etc. and you don't have to deal with the maintenance that you do with gas powered. On top of that you get a 4 year warranty on the blower AND the battery. Plus the battery can be used in their other lineup of products as well. So if you're looking for a quick easy way to clean up after mowing or clean up leaves,etc. around the yard I highly recommend this blower.
