Posted .Hello BelindaW. Thank you for your review. The battery is not shipped fully charged, so we recommend charging it fully before first use. Our lithium-ion batteries can be charged at any time. A solid green LED indicates the battery is fully charged, a blinking green light means it is charging, a solid red light indicates a temperature issue, and a blinking red light signals a charging fault. Please ensure the battery clicks fully into place.

The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use. Please know that batteries in the same voltage platform will ultimately perform the same but the run time will vary. The higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is, the more run time the battery has to offer. The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use. This rating relates to how much run time the battery can offer. The higher the Ah rating is, the greater the run time. Greenworks 80v platform is available in the following voltages, 2ah, 2.5ah, 4ah, 5ah, 8ah.
