Worked great but was a little heavy to carry and awkward to push. But overall it did a good job on the last storm.

One 4 inch snowfall so far with the new blower. I cleared my 6 car driveway in under an hour. The blower did a great job. My wife and I would have taken 2+ hours workimg together with snow shovels. I now feel better prepared to handle snowfalls of about 4-6 inches as they arrive. They battery was easy to use and quick to charge and ran for a complete hour woth no issues. This should be the perfect snow blower for us to use in the future.

I have two patios that are difficult to clear….got a great deal at Best Buy…with a second battery (definitely needed). One patio has a 18 inch wall around it and the other is 30 feet long with a wall along one side. Just had 7-8 inches of wet snow. The small thrower handled the snow well. Most went over the wall…just had to shovel small amount that hit wall and fell back. Did the long patio in two sections…first the area furthest from house. Thought I would probably need to shovel the rest pushing it all the way down the cleared section….but the thrower was able to shoot it all the way down the patio as I walked behind it. I was impressed. Just a couple negatives. It is only 12 inches wide so takes a lot of passes. But that’s ok. As others have commented it is rather heavy. With a bad back I felt it….but still better than shoveling and having to pick up the snow and carry it/ throw it by hand. And finally, with 8 inches of snow, the battery certainly didn’t last long enough to finish. But with two batteries, that charge quickly, it worked quite well. Time will tell how it holds up after multiple uses….

This snow shovel received excellent reviews, but they need to include a shoulder strap. This is a heavy shovel. But it is powerful, though I might look into longer lasting battery. I would recommend this to others.

Meets My Expectations for a Power Snow Shovel

We have a corner property with about 300 feet of perimeter sidewalk to shovel. I’ve done it manually with a plain snow shovel for years, but that’s gotten old as I’ve gotten older. I researched Consumer Reports for top power shovels, and this one was #1, so I figured I’d give it a try. The price point wasn’t bad at $325 since most snowblowers start at $1,200, and I didn’t mind having to do the shoveling if I could get some powered assistance. We recently had a decent snowfall in the Philadelphia area, and I put this shovel into service. I think it performed admirably, I was able to clear what I needed in about 2 hours, faster than I could by hand, and that includes a break for recharging the battery. My observations are… One the plus side: - the thing is a beast, it can move snow quickly, throwing it about 20 feet - it can get down to pavement or close to it - it can break up tromped down ice, but that takes a some extra effort and time - the 80v battery lasts about 45 +/- minutes, which is great - the fast charger included with this kit recharges the battery in less that a half hour - if you have accumulation taller than a foot, you can pick it up & shave off the top and then throw the remainder - it’s surprisingly quiet On the neutral side: - it’s 19 pounds so there is a fair amount of physical exertion, but it moves snow faster than I would manually. - I think I put in a similar amount of work compared to manually shoveling, but it went faster (it is a power shovel, not a snow blower) On the minus side: - on my unit, the secondary handle tightening bolt’s threads seemed too shallow to keep the tightener screw from engaging, so that handle kept slipping or falling apart. I remedied this by wrapping electrical tape around the bolt threads for a better grip. I plan to contact Greenworks to see if they can provide replacement parts for this. - there’s no directional vanes for the direction of the snow throw. This matters depending on the direction of the wind, and whether you’re advancing toward an area you’ve already cleared. Greenworks acknowledges this and recommends angling the shovel toward the direction you want the snow to go. On the whole, I think this shovel is well worth the investment. It’s well made, it’s powerful, the battery lasts a long time, the charger charges quickly so you can take a short break and get back to work. This is exactly what I wanted from a power shovel.

It is very powerful, able to throw snow 25 to 30 feet. Goes a long time on a single charge. Fairly light weight and easy to handle and operate. It does not have wheels, so it will stick if it hits something, but it is light weight.

The product was a lifesaver this year. We used this along with a snow blower, and we knocked out shoveling duties on our property and two other neighbors. The only thing is that it's a bit heavy, but it definitely outweighs manual shoveling. I heard some wheels can be attached, but it's only available in Canada?! If I ever get those wheels, I'm sure this would be a 5 star product.

This unit can really clear the snow! Two batteries are probably a must if you like to keep working without stopping to recharge. Deal of the day came with a free xtra battery as a bonus. Very pleased so far, has only cleared one storm so far. A little heavy, as others noted .

It does what it says, pretty convenient even at the edge of the driveway. It’s a bit heavier than I expected so be careful how you hold it. Came with an extra battery which is very useful when there’s a lot of snow to keep going.

So far I've used it for light and heavy 2-4 inch snowfalls and it does a great job. The 20 foot throw can actually be a little too much in tight spaces. The shovel is a little heavy and you need to be aware that the direction of throw is only forward.

Pretty good. Still a little of a workout as the machine has some heft but still way better than shoveling. For reference this wouldn't be a solution for grandpa or small kid. But ave Joe should be able to handle the weight of it. Works great. gets closer to surface than I was expecting. Basically a mini snow blower with no control on direction. Just goes forward but you can figure it out

Tried it today and were stunned It threw the snow over 39 feet Crazy strong Very heavy to pickup Thought it would just push but gets hung up at sidewalk cracks So more lifting then i thought but still faster and easier than regular shovel Also glad I didn’t have to pull a cord to start it

It is very powerful and cuts through most types of snow. Unfortunately, it is also very heavy and hard to maneuver, some of that is the battery and can only throw the snow in one direction. The battety does not last that long.

Good at throwing snow, somewhat bulky and klutzy to maneuver, although this is mansion on multiple online reviews. As a hole, I found it useful for stairs and smaller areas that it’s hard to get out with a snowblower.
