Trimmer and blower works very well with one battery charge. I have a lot of .3 acres and for mowing it requires 2 charging. But grass cuts well and self propelled helps a lot. I recommend to add one more battery while purchase so that don’t have to wait to finish charging.

So much quieter, No smelly fumes. It's self propelled, and the mower is so lightweight. Remarkably the battery run time is strong. I'd recommend this mower because of how quiet and maintenance-free it is!!

The string trimmer works OK I suppose, only used it twice so far and not sure the string advance works like its supposed to? Would give 5 stars but the trimmer is OK.

The unit must be turned on and you will need to tap the bump knob on the ground to release additional line. Trimmer line of about 1/4" will feed out each time you bump the head. As long the mechanics for the line release are understood and exercised you should have no issues releasing line. Please review the video links shared below. I've used this for about a month now, and it's doing a great job! It's very powerful! The only downside I've found is the weight of the trimmer and blower. Battery is heavy, so it makes the units heavy. But wow, the power! I probably won't be able to use those when I'm 70, hahaha.

I just started back cutting my grass after years of paying someone to do it and this set has made it seem less. I bought an additional battery and it works out perfectly with the 3 pieces of equipment. I get a full yard cut on one battery and the trimmer and blower only uses a little. Glad I purchased it.

Understand that the price was developed around a new owner package, however, we really need a second battery to use all the equipment to get through the entire yard. We have to purchase one separately. All items work very well so far. Easy battery transition, but battery life leaves a little to be desired for a .16 ac yard.

One of the many benefits of the Greenworks 80V platform is the interchangeability of the batteries. If additional batteries are purchased in a combo pack (tool + battery) for another Greenworks 80V tool, you will have extra battery that would provide you with the additional run time. Alternatively, additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with 80V Greenworks batteries (only). Makes a nice clean cut. Does not like to be pulled backwards. Blower is really shocking at how much power it has. Trimmer is not too powerful. Not impressed with run time on batteries or the high cost of them. For my use I definitely had to purchase extra batteries.

They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time of this battery. The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use.
