It bothers me so much because we don't have a big yard at all. I feel like it's a waste of money.

This is my first mower and I learned that electrical ones are not strong enough to cut long grass. If you wait for 2 weeks in Indiana, the mower cannot cut the grass and it always stops every 10 seconds. I hate when it stops and lose a lot of time.

When the lawn is being cut uneven, or the unit is running louder than normal this can indicate a few different things. Try having a look underneath the mower deck and ensure that there has been no damage to the motor shaft, fan, blade, blade washer/insulator or bolt. If any of these parts have been damaged or thrown off balance this will result in an even cut and likely, a noticeable vibration while in use.
