I am on the fence about whether I like this or not. It is longer and not too expensive, but the cord doesn't always charge my phone. I don't know if the issue is with the cord or with my phone.

It worked great for awhile but the contact prongs have bent in just a few weeks and it no longer works without having to wiggle it around for the perfect spot

Cable works just like a USB cable. Just plug it into my phone and let it charge

I go through micro usb cords like no one's business. They lose grip at the connection usually-so that I have to perform rituals and mutter to myself like a crazy person while I try to get my phone and charging cord to join and hold together. But I've had this cord for months now and it has yet to give up on me. It connects to my phone first try, and stays connected. Gives a good, fast charge too. I am unkind to phone cords, but this one is still going strong.

I bought this cord the same time I had bought my son's iPhone cord. His is still working good. But this one I had bought for my daughters HTC has already stopped working. (same brand)

When my cable for charging my phone was inexplicably damaged, I needed a new one. Normally, I would only order cable brands I am familiar with from my decades of computer work, but I needed this one urgently. First night, no problem. Next day, though, it seemed to have a short in one end. By the second day, it would only charge if held in one position. My son thought perhaps the micro USB connector on my phone was going bad, but by swapping phones and cables, we determined that the micro USB connector of the Griffin cable was incorrectly made, so that the contacts only made good connection if you pushed it in a certain direction. My bad cable may be an exception. And I misplaced my receipt, not finding it until after the return period had expired. (I'm sure Best Buy would have done right by me if I had been able to find my receipt in time...they always have.) I will probably go back to those other brands (cheaper and have never had such issues). If you decide to try this one, definitely save your receipt!!
