It starches your phone all over when dust gets between it. It's terrible buy it and mess up your phone.

Doesn't offer a lot of cushion around the edges and the backing separated from the edge after a while.

Case was purchased for my girlfriend, she takes care of her electronics very well, color faded after 3 days!

Only had it for a day. Should have believed the other reviews. Save your money, there are plenty more out there now. I just needed something quick, and the selection was very limited then.

I bought this for my iphone 5, Iphone 5 also has adapters for their new connector. The adapter I got from apple wont sit in the dock correctly because of where the rubber is near the dock. Badly designed.

I drop my phone and it bounced out of the case got scratches on my new phone no protection at all

Great case. It does scratch very easily and attracts a lot of dust. It protects the phone and for me, the scratches don't bother me. It protects the phone while keeping it slim and light. Wish it were a little more heavy duty.

I have never been a big fan of cases, but after hearing the horror stories about how the back of the black iPhone scratches very easily, I ran to Best Buy right away. I was looking for 3 things in a case: back protection from scratches, something that was not clunky to offset the lightweight of the phone, and hopefully something that wont hide the beautiful design. This case does all that for me. Now, the only negative side of this case is that, it had scuff damage out of the box. I could not for the life of me figure out why and thought it was an isolated incident, until I read some other reviews. The back does take on scratches, but at least I know it is doing its job. I've taken off the case from time to time, and I have not noticed any damage resulting from the case itself. I do recommend this case for others, if your criteria is the same as mine. It won't save it from drops, but it adds some level of protection from having in your pocket or laying it on the table. The phone with the case on still feels good in my hands, and I do receive many compliments on the case for its minimal design.

This is my second Belkin case, I had one on my iPhone 4, and now on my iPhone 5. These are the most similar to the Apple bumpers that I've found. I like they they show the beauty of the phone, and the rubber edges give a little protection if dropped and keep it from sliding around on surfaces like in the car, but still the case has a slim profile. I don't like the big bulky Otterbox, etc. cases - which the salesman told me people were waiting for. This isn't going to protect the phone if it's dropped in water, sure, but that's what AppleCare+ or a SquareTrade warranty is for.

I had a similar case for an iPhone 4 and loved it because it provided protection but did not distract from the design integrity. I also like the texture of the case because it improves the hand grip and helps keep the phone from sliding on surfaces. Two ports and one switch are not covered, but to get a case that does, bulks up the phone so much that it doesn't slip into my pockets easily. I tried a hard plastic case, but missed the grip offered by Griffin.

I read several bad reviews here about this case and was on the fence about buying. I used the Griffin Reveal on my iPhone 4s and LOVED it so I thought I'd give it a try as I really liked how it didn't take up a lot of space on the front of the phone and it was a nice sleek design. I am glad I did! I love this case! I am not sure how people are getting rocks inside this case to scratch up the back of their phone because it's a nice snug fit. The no slip grip on the edges is very sturdy. I have not had any issues getting the phone into or out of my pocket, I don't understand the reviews that state phone is falling because it's getting caught on the pocket. I really like this case and am glad I purchased. I'm not one to usually review products but I felt compelled due to all the negative reviews. If you have used and liked a Griffin case before, this one will not disappoint!

This is a very nice case. I got it because I still wanted to see the rear design of the phone while adding some protection. The only downside to this case is that its hard to keep the back clear of dust and it scratches very easy. After only 2 days its already scratched from only minor use. Other than that the fitment is great and everything seems very precise.

I bought this case for my wife after ordering the Griffin equivalent. This case is quite a bit better as it is easier to grip and easier to access the ports and switches than the Griffin. The only negative is that the clear plastic tends to scratch (as does the Griffin), however, I'd rather this scratch than the iPhone!

I bought this case after hearing how the iphone5's aluminum backing gets easily scratched. This case was an easy choice for me because it did not take away from the appearance of the iphone at all. Do not be fooled, though. The case looks perfect while in the packaging but when you take it out of the packaging it will most likely have scuff marks on the clear plastic backing. This was not a problem for me though (considering how it was just the case and it would eventually get scratched anyway). The problem for me was that the hard plastic backing would press against any hard material, that would find it's way into the case, against the back of the phone and cause 'dot) scratches. I call them this because they looks as if a smudge is on the phone (like a dot) but when you try to remove/clean them, you realize they are scratches. It isn't too bad because you can't see them unless you're looking looking for them, but none-the-less, they are there. The entire purpose of the case, which is to protect the phone from being damaged in anyway, was defeated. you'll be better off getting a case that has a rubber/micro-fiber lining on the inside, and a hard-shell outside.

This is the worst case. It is loose enough that it allows dirt and debris to get between the case and the phone and then allows the phone to slide around enough that it scratches and will gouge the phone backing. This case does the exact opposite of protecting the phone. Do not buy this case.

The case provides a nice grasp of the phone and doesn't hide too much but it scratches easily. I'm only on day 2 and it looks horrid. As soon as I took it out, the cardboard packaging scratched the inner side of the case and now there's a huge scrape on it. Don't waste your money.

This case is perfect for those who want to show off their awesome iPhone 5 and protect it at the same time. Throw a zagg HD shield on the screen and your phone is good to go. It's not the most rugged, but it will protect it from surface scratches and short drops. Sweet case!
