offers full protection. but had hard time installing.

When I bought my iPod touch (5th gen) last week, I picked this up at the same time. Getting the iPod into it took a little longer than expected, but it really wasn't too bad. All the controls of the iPod work very well through the silicone and even sound from the speaker comes through loud and clear. The best feature: it really does protect the iPod from impacts. Two days ago, I tripped and fell onto a sidewalk with my hands slamming into it pretty hard. In my left hand I was holding my iPod in its case and it took the brunt of the impact on that side. I thought that the case would withstand drops, not the kind of force I had just subjected it to, but I was wrong. My iPod was not damaged at all and the case itself took minimal damage. Well worth the money!

This is a nice rugged case for the new ipod touch but it has a few flaws. It would seem that having a slot for the i loop strap was an afterthought. When the loop is installed, the case does not close properly which prevents the lightning cable from being fully inserted into the port. After removing the loop it was easy to connect the lightning cable. I also discovered that this case blocked the speaker so much that I was no longer able to beam TonePrint effects to my guitar amplifier. Overall I think the survivor case is a good product and with these few problems corrected I would highly recommend it. In the meantime I will have to buy another case to protect and hold on to this slick new ipod touch 5.

I had alot of money so I could just pick this case up but I can see how it can be a little expensive. It took a while to install but when it was done my new ipod 5 felt like a tank ready for anything coming its way. Tips:1 Make sure all the dust on the screen is wiped out before you install the screen protector. 2 Make sure everything is tightly in the correct spot or else the screen will not connect properly. 3 This is a case but that doesnt mean you can automatically start throwing it around treat your product like a new born baby except the baby just got a new pair of clothes. We had gotten a green one for my daughter when she got a 4th gen iPod touch 6 months ago. We loved it so much when we got our son a new iPod 5th gen it was totally a necessity! He picked his out to be the blue color. These are very durable and totally protect the iPods if they are dropped or tossed around. Yes they are 8 and 12 so they do occasionally get tossed gently onto chairs, tables, beds...even though us parents don't approve and continually azure with them not to! All of the holes and buttons line up which is great. I have bought cases in the past that they don't...which gets annoying! :0) All buttons and functions are easily useable on this case. The only downside is docking, since it is a bulky case you do have to remove the case to dock it to boomboxes and other devices. The cord plugs in just fine, though you have to give it an extra firm push that clicks but does no damage to the case or cord. At first I couldn't' get the cord to charge until I did this...I was afraid of damaging something and just was not pushing hard enough to get it all the way in past the case. The other thing I noticed between the two is with my daughters there was a little divot on the back of the case that when you opened the camera plug it had a bump on it that snapped it into this divot to keep it out of the way of the camera. This one does not do that so when using the camera you have to make sure that you hold the rubber plug back under your finger that you hold the iPod with. The other plus of this case is the screen protector. It is built into this case so you can just quickly and easily clean it with a lightly damp cloth and be good to go. No regularly buying and replacing the expensive screen protector stickers!!!!! Those things are soo expensive and add up sooo quickly when you have multiple devices in the house that need to regularly be swapped out! The case might seem a bit pricier than other options, but it is totally worth it especially if you are getting it for a child or if you''re a klutz! We want to search the internet and see if we can find versions for our older ipods!

Fits perfect on the I pod and it has survived a few drops with out any marks

This is a wonderful product for keeping my iPod safe and secure. I had some trouble assembling it, so my son did it for me with absolutely no problem. I like that it will keep my iPod safe and secure should I accidentally drop it. Highly recommend this, and I love the color combination too!

I use my iPod Touch for exercising and the case keeps me from dropping it when my hands get sweaty. I wanted a case that would protect my iPod screen from getting scratched.....this case does the job! So glad I bought it.

I feel a little more at ease letting my 11 year old son take my i pod to a friends with this case on it. I know the screen won't be scratched and if it is dropped, odds are it will withstand the impact.

This case is great for kids. Once you put it on, it protects their iTouch from almost anything they could accidentally do to it - other than lose it! I wish it was a little cheaper (price-wise) as it seems like the price is a little inflated.

This is a great case for the price. It has a built-in screen protector, so another is not needed. All the ports and buttons can be used without any difficulty. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it took a few tries to get the iPod in the case.

I bought an iPod Touch 5th Generation the first day it came out. I waited many weeks for this case, and I think it's worth the $35 I paid for it. A friend of mine has an Otterbox and the rubber tore.

This case protects the ipod touch 5 from being scratched or broken when dropped by accident. Very durable and strong. A must have for most ipod touch users. Comes in several colors.

This product is great for protecting your valuable purchase. Bit tied exactly what it says keeps device safe and free from falls, scratches, etc. I would buy another

Tough and rugged case for an iPod. Can be bulky, but protects well.

I read several reviews, before purchasing this product. Many said that they could not charge their Ipod while it was in the case. I have had no problems charging it with the case on. The only time I have to remove the case is when I work out, because the workout equipment has the old Ipod connectors. I bought the adapter, and simply connect it to the equipment, to use it. I am very pleased with this case!

This case comes with a screen protector and if it weren't for that, my screen would have gotten messed up. This case is also really good if you are prone to dropping your device a lot. It has super thick rubber edges so it will just bounce if you drop it. The bad thing about this case is that I can't access the menu at the bottom of my iPod because of the super thick case. And it is quite difficult to take off once you have it on. Putting it on is pretty tricky too.

Fit is great but aggravating to put on. Otherwise it is great. Wish it is was cheaper & had more colors to choose from.

My son is always dropping things so this case does very well protecting his iPod.
