Great case for iPad. Very secure fit. It’s already been tested! It held its iwn and saved the ipad from the six foot fall it took off if the back deck. Highly recommended!

Love the protection this case provides but it adds a lot of weight to the IPAD.

The Griffin Technology protects the iPad very well. I know it is due to the materials used that makes it a bit on the heavy side, but it protects very well.

I looked at all the cases and some were just ridiculously priced. Out of all of the I picked this one. Not very pretty but easy to hold. It doesn't add a lot of weight and it has a built in screen protector.

Best kid friendly case that really protects against drops and scratches. Plus the thicker case is easier to hold with small hands.

Easy to set up and is wonderful protector when it comes to kids. Kids tended to spill.. dirtied, and smeared the Ipad and it's easy to wipe off and proctect the ipad with its cover! Points for parents!

The 5th star was given because 1) it came in blue and 2) it was still available despite how many years ago Gen 3 was released. The product at first glance looks like it is over engineered, but like other iPhone and iPad covers that I’ve had in the past, the product is proven. Touch and feel of the outer rubber cover is assuring. Grooving and texture reinforces hold. Skeletal frame feels like it was baked into the rubber mold. Fit and finish is comparable to the rival company. NOTE: I said comparable, not better. Otherwise, this is my favorite brand of all the cases on the market.

The options of colors are pretty, the set up is easy to follow. Love the stand attached to the case to let it stand up on a table.wveryhing is protected with covering like your camera and etc.

I need good protection.for the iPad from myself and my four year old twins. I expect trade-offs in a case. I had one of the first cases griffin came out with. This case is an improvement. The old case had covers for the camera. The problem with this cover is that it would not stay in place. The new design is better,but now the cover comes off and does not re-attach easily. Also, I would love a better way to hang this case to make it easier to user in the car. That being said, if you need a bomb proof case, this will work for you

I purchased the Survivor Case because my family is clumsy and just about every iPhone we've ever had, we've managed to break the screen. So, I vowed I would take better care of our iPads. So far, it has worked out very well. It does make the iPad heavier because of the sturdier material, but my 2 year old can still hold the iPad with ease. He liked to play on my iPad, so we got him an older model, but we got the exact same case because the Survivor Case has protected our iPads great so far. I highly recommend it if you have children in the house.

Very happy with the case for my iPad 3, I like the look of it, it definately seems durable enough to protect against drops. Also has a leg that allows it to stand up for hands free viewing.

After we had to replace our I Pad for the second time, we thought it would be a wise investment to get a case for it. I liked the looks and the price of the Survivor case. I was partial to Otter, but for the price, the Griffin is a much better deal with the small exception of having to press down a little harder on the screen to get it to react. It has the equivalent bulkiness as the Otter so no loss there. We just got an I Pad mini for the same jello hands child and we bought the same Griffin Survivor case for it.

The griffin ipad protection cover is a blessing for both work and play. I can take it to work and not have to worry about the everyday bumps and bruises on my ipad. I can come home and hand the ipad to my children without having to worry about it being ruined by a simple drop on the floor. I would only recommend that the speaker protection and camera covers be made a bit more permanently attached so that I don't have to keep looking for them after my kids misplace them. The volume adjustment is easy to access and so is the charging port. I am very happy with my purchase and I look forward to purchasing this case (in its phone version) for my new iphone5 real soon.

Bought this for my sons Ipad and it works very well to protect it. It is a little pricey but worth the investment it protect your ipad.

I wish that I had bought it sooner. Now, I don't have to worry about dropping my iPad because of its slick finish. I dropped my slick iPad and cracked the screen. Don't wait like I did!

A bit cheaper than competitors but so far has been great no issues I've broken screens in past not since I purchases this case

I bought this case after I just spend $150 to replace my screen after my 20 dollar case allowed my iPad to shatter into a spiderweb. Luckily I had a screen protector which allowed me to still operate it for a while. After fixing the screen, I decided to never let that happen again, so I spend the $ and bought the survivor case. Great investment. I have since dropped my iPad from a height of 6ft onto a tile floor, countless times off my bed onto my carpet. I love the fact that I didn't have to spend the extra $40 bucks or so for the screen protector too since this case already comes with the screen protector. Well worth the investment!

I believe in the Griffin Survivor. I had it on my old iPod touch for a year and nothing ever happened to it, although I dropped it about 50 times. When I took it off, the touch never had a scratch on it. This is what led me to buy this for my new Ipad 4. It's a little tough to get on, but when you do, it's super secure. My Ipad dropped a few times since it's been on, but still works fine. I have a son that plays with my Ipad and I needed a rugged case. I chose this over Lifeproof because it's less expensive and I read some reviews when Ipads broke even when dropped with a Lifreproof case on. Not the case with this one.

Someone really thought about the design of this case. The case was a gift for a 13 year old whose iPad is about a year old so it had a Zagg Invisible Shield. Closing the case requires "dad strength" but that's a good thing, a really good thing. Once it's all closed up it holds everything in place. The built in stand is awesome and the drop protection is excellent. It's almost too minor to mention but with the Zagg installed the screen shows bubbling when it's off. When it's on you can just press any visible bubbles and it just goes away. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the quality and the way it works.
