This case is the best I have ever seen. Soft and not add in much weight it protects even from a 6 foot drop. ORIGINALLY MADE FOR USE BY ARMEDFORCES.....THIS CASE GIVES SUPERIOR PPROTECTION JUST LIKE OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM. With Amazon price match.....I got it for less than half the price listed in store. BEST BUY IS THE ONLY PLACE TO SHOP! THIS CASE IS PROTECTING A IPAD 4TH GEN FOR A 5 YEAR OLD. Easy to put on...comes with a stand up clip. They have a variety of colors.

We bought these cases for our business IPads because we wanted something you could literally toss in the car and go. We didn't want to have to worry about dropping them or sitting on them or whatnot. These cases really fit the bill. I have dropped mine at least twice - and I'm not the clumsiest of the bunch! As for water resistance, I took mine with me when my three year old and I went sledding. Despite several wipeouts, all I did was wipe off the snow and kept filming. Not a single drop penetrated the case! This is the case for anyone who really wants to start using their IPad and stop worrying about it!

Works well to protect the ipad. Protects the ipad from just about anything. Front screen scratches way too easily.

Compared to spending over a hundred dollars for an iPad case, this one is quite affordable. It seems to be durable and works fine with the iPad itself, except that you have to wrestle it into place to make sure all the buttons align. If not, the volume will continually mute itself. The stand is small and not adjustable, which is fine unless you need a lower elevation for typing. Overall, though, this is a good, sturdy case that works fine for daily wear.

I use the same type case for both my iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Very strong. I have 3 kids and this case will survive just about anything they use it for. I highly recommend this case. There are a few minor issues, the case is a little difficult to put on and the mic and speaker will be a little muffled from some of the weatherproofing. I removed the film weatherproofing and have not had a problem since. Still as durable as it started. Even with the few minor issues, I still highly recommend this case over otter, ballistic and any other Comparably price case. If you need more, go lifeproof.

my iPad is very well protected with this cover. I have had two other different cheaper covers and the screen shattered when we dropped the iPad by accident.

Provides great protection although it heavier than expected. The built-in folding stand is great for skype/etc.

I love my iPad, I use it for just about everything now. It goes where ever I go. The same is true for my kids. That said, we broke three iPads before we bought the survivor case. At first I was skeptical, but now I would never dream of not having it on my iPad. The biggest issue I have is that the screen will get scratched and hazy over time. I think there is a great opportunity for the manufacturer to sell replacement covers, but I can't find them anywhere

Our son has dropped the iPad a few times and the case obsorbed the fall really well. It is a little heavy but worth it because it protects the iPad so well!

This cover has done everything I purchased it for. It has given my iPad great protection form drops, bangs, scrapes and crunches. It covers the entire iPad, and has rubber ports that open for easy access to important ports and buttons on the unit. It has very thick and dense rubber that gives it the ability to protect the iPad from anything except a total dunking in water. The only thing I have had some trouble with is that the protection is so good, it blocks my WiFi reception in certain parts of my home, so I have to be careful to have a good line to my FiOS sending unit.

Very sturdy, great protection, the case was easy to put on, a little bit cumbersome to take off but worth it for keeping it safe.

No wonder its called survivor....the only thing is that it looks like if the screen is wet......don't know how to fix it but other than that I love it.

This was a very pricey cover but it has a great fit and does protect my IPAD!

Difficult to assemble but video was helpful. The packaging hid the instructions. They should be right on top. Tabs are tight. Once assembled, a nice cover.

Great product! Keeps the IPad safe from damages from falling, but all features are still easy to use.

I use these cases on four of the six ipads I have set up for use at work. I use them primarily as Augmentative/Alternative Communication devices or for other aid, for people with Autism. The cases are great; they leave the external features of the ipad (buttons, camera, speakers etc) accessible but protected, and they are pretty robust all around. In my line of work, these things are liable to be tossed, dropped, hit etc, and I've had no issues so far. I do have ONE person who is more likely to introduce his device to water; we got a different product for him.

This is a great product. It is hard to put on and take off, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The outer film that protects the touch screen is moderately good for preventing scratches on itself, and those scratches do not occur on the iPad itself. The aisle to lift the iPad is nice for all angles required for upright reading, but it is difficult to close back down.

I would not let my boys, ages 9 and 11, touch our ipad until we bought this. I wanted to keep it safe from scratches and kid dirt, and this definitely fit the bill. Pricier than some of the other cases, but since the ipad was a gift I was ok spending a little more to get the protection I wanted. Even with the problems I have with the volume button, I highly recommend this if you let your kids use your electronics.
