this case is great we got them for our grandkids for Christmas for there I pads

Everything is very good about this case except it is pricey at near $100.

Offers great protection. The case muffles the sound quality and sounds horrible. The screen has rainbow glare to it which get annoying. Not what I thought it would be for the price. Poorly constructed.

The cut outs for the power and volume controls DO NOT align. Not even close. I cannot believe QC could be this bad so this model must have been designed for a different iPad. Returned.

This case is alright but not as sturdy as I would like. I have an Otterbox for my iPhone and wish there was one for the air when I bought it. This works for the time being.

Heavier than the device it is supposed to protect.

Like the unit, it just allows accidental activation of the "on" button when in my briefcase so the battery life suffers

This is a great product but I found it too difficult to install. I struggled with it for hours then took it back and exchanged it for a diff model,

It provides a solid feel when holding your ipad. The built-in screen protector works great, but the screen has some prismatic spots. Unlike some reviews, I didnt notice any significant loss of touch sensitivity with the screen protector. The rubberized feel just gives you a better grip when holding the ipad. Another good thing about the case is that all the plugs are covered well, so you don't have to worry much about dust/dirt getting in. I use it for my work which requires a lot of outdoor activities, so the case serves its purpose great.

I forgot my iPad mini on top of my car, it fell of while driving at around 45 MPH, bounced below a truck, when I turned back my iPad was still in working condition, (broken screen, but, everything still works) as a matter of fact, I'm writing the review on that product. I wil recommend it to any one!

So for a birthday present, I got my wife an iPad Air. Because I'm awesome like that and she wanted an iPad for a while. I did determine that it would need a pretty extensive case to protect it, however; we have a two year old, and we all know what two year olds do to expensive stuff, right? Being that the OtterBox and the LifeProof were both unavailable and this was the only available case the salesperson could recommend for my situation. (He also told me I could trade my Air for his 4. He had a terrific sense of humor.) Being that we've used it on a pair of road trips and my toddler uses the iPad in this case on an almost daily basis, we've had zero issues with it. We do have to clean the screen off after every use, and we pop it open once a week to clean dust off of the iPad itself (BTW, ZERO scratches on the iPad in this case, unlike another reviewer's experience), but that's par with the course when it comes to armored cases apparently (people I know with OtterBox or LifeProof on their iPads do the same thing). I also play a few games on the iPad with this case on - Infinity Blade series, Sonic CD, Castle of Illusion, and Cut the Rope among others - and the case doesn't interfere with touch response or give me that "it's in a case" feeling. The only negative is the screen protector itself is delicate. My wife scratched it on a stone table. It's not like it'll be destroyed by tapping on it, but it isn't scratch-proof. All in all, I'd recommend this one if you can't get a LifeProof.
