Perused all of the cases for the gen 5 iPod Touch and settled on this one because it's simple, sleek and sturdy. Also boasted that it could protect my iPod in a 6-foot drop! The case also looks good and adds a slight curve to the otherwise very boxy iPod. It's great that it comes with a screen protector, or else you'd have to buy it separately. At the price, though, it covers purchasing a cheaper case and the screen protector separately, so you're not saving any money here. Although the case does protect my iPod well, it's very restrictive. I like to plug an AUX cable into my iPod so the music can play through the stereo system. This case only allows enough space to plug in the streamlined iPod headphone jack, but nothing as big (!!) as an AUX cable. So if I want to plug my iPod into a stereo system, I have to remove the two-piece case first, and that's a bit of a struggle.
