It's a really cool take on alot of the ferry tale creatures you heard of as a kid.

Its not a show everyone will like. The writers have taken a lot of liberties with the characters from the Grimm's Fairy Tale stories. Understandably to make the show interesting, they had to. They did an excellent job in my opinion. The stories and plots stay together throughout the whole series quite nicely. The actors really bring the characters to life and make the show very enjoyable to watch. The show always leaves you wanting more at the end of every episode. Not because they've left anything out, it's because you can't wait to see the next episode. Overall, if you like fantasy shows then you should like Grimm. It's a fresh new take of an old story! But everyone is still entitled to there own opinion.

I bought this show for my wife, because she absolutely loves it. I enjoy it as well, however, I can see that it's not for everyone and can be a bit cheesy. The overall plot of the main character Nick learning that he is a Grimm and can see mystical creatures called Wessen, and his learning what his role should be, is quite interesting. Where the first season falls short however, is in its "monster of the week" style of episodes. Like many shows, it does improve with the second season. So, if you are a fan of the show, you will surely want this season, even if it isn't the best, but if you weren't a big fan of the first season, keep watching and definitely pick up season 2 when it comes out.

Grimm is TRULY AMAZING. So easy to watch and so much fun! I'm not one to normally watch shows like this, but Grimm really had me hooked by episode 4. I can't get enough of Det. Nick Burkhardt. If cops only looked like him for real! WOW. Had to buy it here at Best Buy b/c they don't sell fakes like ebay. QUALITY DVD's only. The BEST. Thanks Best Buy. I so recommend this to ANYONE!

I had never seen any of these episodes before and I really did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised how enjoyable this collection is to watch. The soundtrack sounds incredible on a good surround sound system. The writing and acting are also superb. Highly recommended.

Takes a bit of time to acquaint oneself to the characters but the series is well worth watching. Another good example of quality entertainment produced by the Vancouver film industry.

This is a great show, What is on th DVD is not important. If oneo wants pure entertainemnt. Buit, watch it and Enjoy it.
