Good movie not bad at all glad I watched and added to collection

A great classic movie. Made even better in 4k UHD.

What would you do if you were stuck in one place and every day was exactly the same, and nothing that you did mattered? -- Phil Conners The comedy stylings of Bill Murray are usually worth watching, but they were never so poignant as they were Groundhog Day. Struggling through the unlikely happenstance of his least favorite day of the year constantly repeating itself, Murray's character, Phil Conners, struggles to find reason in his circumstances in a journey that frequently seems to mirror a normal life in endlessly entertaining ways.

It is unfortunate that the 2D blu-ray included is subpar, but the 4K is a substantial upgrade. This is highly recommended for any Bill Murray fan and those that are willing to go through some repetition of the plot for a big payoff at the end. The repetition of Groundhog Day is necessary for the viewer to witness the transformation of Bill Murray’s character. There are so many wonderful moments that are unique to each iteration of the repeated day. One of the most unique comedies and films that I’ve ever seen.

What a great movie. For those of you who enjoy any movies with Bill Murray, you will not be dissapointed. This movie is a hilarious story of a man who finds out how he should be acting by experiencing the same things over and over on the same exact day of the month. Great movie, i recommend to anyone.

Groundhog Day is a funny movie, but not very funny; however, it makes up for it by delving deep into the dramatic reaction one may take when confronted with repeating the same day over and over again. The dark, brooding sections of the movie color the comedy that pervades the rest. Overall, I give the movie a four. It delivers the comedy you expect plus gives better plot development than the average comedy. Alas, the romance was a bit cheesy. At least to me...

'Groundhog Day' is easily Bill Murray's best performance in my opinion, and it's a film that just about everyone should see and enjoy at least once. Overall, good bonus features and widescreen transfer.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Bill Murray gives a great, funny performance and the groundhog isn't too shabby either.

A must see! VERY well done! This is Bill Murray at his very best! great cast!
