First time with problems

Reinstalled cables

I had to call the store and go there to get cables. It was not the Geek Squad. I did it myself. Everything seemed fine until recently when I got an intermittent crackling sound. I don't know if its the cable company or cables. Will contact store and cable company after holiday.

Bad experience

Ended up costing me $150 more for another mount. I have to believe there was a more affordable and effective mount at a more reasonable price. To top it off - TV was DOA - screen was cracked!

Installation of Sony sound bar.

It was purchased in December 2023. I have had it serviced 3x's. It is still not fixed. I was promised it would be replaced on May 31, 2024. I was contacted on May 31st; and was told they did not have the new sound bar. I am very disappointed with Best Buy.

Poor service on installation and schedulling

Unable to Install

I informed both times the need to bring new device and neither time did they bring the needed equipment. I took 2 hours of my day to meet the technician to learn we still didn't have what was needed. I was told that someone from Meridian was driving the equipment over and would be that same day to install. After repeated no answered calls or no reply to text message, I am totally dissatisfied with the Geek squad and Best Buy. I purchased this television and equipment in December of last year and still cannot use the equipment. I am considering having everything removed and all my money refunded.

Horrible Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible Horrible Horrible!! 1st tv delivered didn’t work properly. 2nd tv the installers scratched the back of tv trying to get mount off after they torqued down screw with an impact drill and couldn’t back out the screw. 3rd time install went super smooth until I was told by the installers that there was an “email” that went out with a message for me advising that this was my last exchange on that tv should there be “another blemish”. Basically saying I am stuck with that TV. Totally unacceptable!!

Still don't have a TV in place!

BestBuy called the independent repair shop to come get the TV, but never told them to return the TV. BestBuy kept telling me that without a TV to replace the one that was warrantied, they couldn't replace it. I FINALLY CALLED THE REPAIR SERVICE AND HAD THEM BRING MY OLD TV BACK! I feel BESTBUY did not do right by the customer, ME!!! It is now 7/31/2020, and I still don't have a replacement, however, my old TV that doesn't work is sitting in my foyer waiting for BESTBUY to deliver my new TV, and take the old non-working one!

Online return issue

Called and was told I would have to return the TV to a store. Not a good plan

2893 Ethernet completion

It appears that arbitrary definition of close out have been closed with no communications. from the contracted scope of work to be implemented, there is one more task to be completed, routing of ethernet cable to a wall Jack. This task was to be completed in Nov./Dec. time frame but due to resident exposure needed to be rescheduled. Rescheduling has not been coordinated or completed.

dissatisfied with installers

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.purchased sony 2019 problem in 2021 called for repair and geek said I'm not covered even though I purchased 5yr warranty in 2019 , spent countless hours on the phone to no satisfaction, Last conversation was a week ago and they told me a supervisor will return my call within 48 hrs,, It's been 6 days,, So when I return from vacay the better business bureau, consumer reports and my local TV station will be notified of this pathetic service It's a shame no one CARES!! Mr. DeCandis

TOO SLOW

We've spoken to seventeen plus people over the three months on over a dozen phone calls and spending 6 to 8 hours ON HOLD, not counting conversation time. We were told we'd have a repairman come check it out, we'd get a store credit, we'd get our money back, and lastly we'd get a replacement unit. No wonder Best Buy is going out of business. Really aggravating is that few of the people with whom we spoke could speak English well.

Terrible Customer service agents.

If you are replacing a wall mounted TV then you should have your new TV mounted as well. Well, it took them three weeks to get it straight. and they felt that they did a great job with their service. Poor skilled customer service agents. They need people with some common since.
