So glad Disney finally got around to completing the Marvel 4k collection. Great looking steelbook. Must buy.

I collect the steelbooks and this is a perfect addition to the collection! The movie is fantastic as well!

Prices are comparable to any other store. Wanted 4K but was not available by marvel for some reason. Not a BB issue

Movie was great follow-up to part 1. I felt like it was a little too mushy in relation to the "Star-Lord finding his long lost father". It was a good build up and reveal. But I felt like that took up more time than it should have. I get that they make movies to appeal to a broader spectrum of people aside from the Marvel crowd so they beefed it up in that aspect. But it was more obvious in this movie, especially with the extra Drax comedy relief moments. The scenery was amazing, character development was great, only real complaint was Rocket going backwards in a sense of achievement and attitude. They just made him sort of a jerk in the movie and his solitary action created a big ordeal. Overall still wouldn't kick this movie out of my collection by any means as is still has great replay value. I hope part 3 brings it all together and really makes this series the gold standard for action/comic book movies.

Had to collect all of the Marvel 4K steelbook releases for the collection. The steelbook finish is nice.

I love the MCU movies, nearly every one of them are terrific. Per usual, Disney has given physical disc buyers the short straw by not including Dolby Vision. I will continue to dock a start for this behavior. But I'll also keep rewarding them for it too, sigh.

Throughly enjoyed this movie, character introduction and interaction is truly worthy of the Marvel Universe.

This movie looks great in 4k. I waited since its initial release in standard bluray for the 4k release.

What’s a superhero flick without Guardians of the Galaxy. Definitely supports the setup to Avengers plot

James Gunn has assembled one of the most satisfying and thoroughly entertaining films I've seen this year. It really has everything. It changes from funny to exciting or heartfelt seamlessly. The characters are as bizarre as a Marvel movie has yet given us, but James Gunn manages to make every single one, not only likable, but relatable. The characters are wonderfully cast as well. Chris Pratt is very talented, and I'm very excited for his burgeoning film career. I won't get into all the other, but I particularly enjoyed Dave Bautista's delivery of some of the funniest lines in the movie. As malicious as Ronan is, I found myself getting chills during his scenes because of how good Lee Pace was in his performance. I haven't even gotten to the visuals yet. The detail that went into the set design of the Kyln, the Dark Aster, Knowhere, Xandar, Morag, etc. was incredible, and I love the lush color palette throughout this film. More than most Marvel movies, I would say this one is particularly appealing to all audiences (more so to younger audience than other marvel movies). As a last note, I have to say you gotta love how they worked in the 70's music with Tyler Bates' great score. It was such an essential part to the movie that it would feel empty if it weren't there. In short, I LOVE THIS MOVIE!
