I had low expectations going into this movie. I usually do as not to be disappointed. I can tell you I was not. It have me laughing out loud quite a bit. The cast of characters are all played very well and work together in one funny entertaining movie. I would highly recommend this movie. It fits in the Marvel universe perfectly and will be a good way to spend a few hours. Go get this movie now!

Given the scarcity of the steelbook version the day this film came out I was left with little option but to buy this version. Release week price was consistent with the 3D combo release price of winter soldier. Hope the trend continues with future marvel releases. All that needs to be said about this film has already been said better elsewhere. The bluray has a demo worthy A/V package and the extras are light, but the commentary is quite enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this one, the first of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. It looks stunning in UHD 4K and the sound is very well done. I have all audio through the soundbar, and the TV speakers turned off. This is one of the Marvel movies to keep for sure. Highly recommended.

The movie is a ton of fun and loses nothing on second viewing. The Blu-Ray is well done. I don't care for when you pop in a movie and it auto-plays trailers and such, but at least in this case the trailers and other commercials are for things you might actually be interested in (other MCU stuff). The Avengers preview is under Bonus Features, not Sneak Peek as you might expect. It's nothing too special but will still get you excited for next summer!

I did not have very high expectations when I went to see this in the theaters, but it blew me away. Great story, excellent characters, and awesome Marvel action, in total provided one of the most memorable super hero stories to date. The blu-ray is excellent with great picture quality in both 3D and regular. Sound quality is awesome and will pound your sound system relentlessly with both detail and impact. A must own for Marvel or super hero fans.

So glad I was able to obtain a steelbook from Bestbuy. My only issue is that Bestbuy did not limit any of the steelbooks that were sold when the movie was released. I witness many people buying stacks of steelbooks, which left the other customers empty handed. I had seen one man grab and purchase 12. There was at least 30 or more people that were waiting outside for the steelbooks. But as far as the Flick goes 100% filled with Sweet Awesomeness!!!

A funny movie that has great action scenes. James Gunn did a great job with the property and seemed to capture an audience outside of the superhero movie genre. My wife enjoyed the movie quite a bit and I enjoyed the easter eggs and quick inclusions of superhero lore in the movie. You don't need to know the comics to enjoy the movies, but moments like the inclusion of the Celestials is a payoff for a fan of the comics. Definitely recommended!

Having known nothing of the Guardians of the Galaxy other than it's based on comic books of the same name, I had no idea what to expect with this movie. It really shows that along with the current crop of comic book based movies produced by Marvel studios, that a relatively unknown property such as GOTG, can be a huge success. This was fun movie to watch with some really good performances all the way around. It has stood up to repeated viewings.

This incredibly hard to come by, collectible. beautiful steelbook is the definitive edition of Guardians of the Galaxy. The film itself is, in my opinion, the best of all of Marvel's offering. A space opera in the vein of Star Wars, as well as a Macguffin thriller in the vein of a 60s action thriller; GotG os nearly a perfect film. Wildly colorful in tone, characters, music and cinematography, the is a movie you'll watch over and over.

Saw this movie in the theaters and was not disappointed! Its a great movie for kids and comic book lovers! Even those who don't know Guardians or the Marvel Comic sphere will love this movie! IT HAS A TALKING GUN TOOTING RACCOON! AND HIS PERSONAL WALKING TALKING TREE! Picked this up when it was just released and got the good deal with 3D even though I don't have a 3D system but this is definitely a movie I would love to see again in 3D at home.

A good sequel, as good or better than the first one.

Excellent movie, one of the most fun times I've had in a long time. Watching it felt like an amusement park ride. Sound production is wonderful, making you feeel like you're in their universe. As for the look, an eyegasmic accomplishment of vibrant brilliance. Loved the script and characters, there were no dead spots in the flow of the film, just a wonderful way to spend 2 hours in front of the tv. Definitely one for your Blu-Ray collection!

What can I say that hasn't been already said about this movie. It is not only a great Marvel Cinematic Universe addition, it is a great movie over all. It has action, comedy and great characters. From Chris Pratt's Starlord's to Rocket Raccoon and Groot. I mean, who would had thought that the best part of the movie would be a sarcastic, grumpy raccoon and a gentle but deadly tree. If you haven't seen this movie yet, run to rent it or buy it.

This is one of the most entertaining new movies in a very long time. It has action, adventure, and comedy all rolled up into a science fiction future. It leaves you with a great feeling and wanting a sequel. Hollywood finally gets it, audiences want to be entertained and leave the theater feeling like they got their money's worth, not grossed out or aggravated by gory stories about zombies where everyone dies.

GotG is a somewhat obscure property from Marvel, and a big risk in terms of bringing it to the big screen. However, it's a risk that paid off. This is a fun movie, regardless of whether you're familiar with the characters or not, and lays further groundwork for future MCU films. Single-disc Blu-ray release, includes special features, but not the extra DVD or digital copies. I really only wanted the Blu-ray version, so this was perfect.

Do you like feeling happy? Do you enjoy the sweet pain in your jaw and guts from laughing hysterically. You should buy this movie. Do you like having to crawl around the floor looking for your eyeballs because they've popped out of your skull from being dazzled by special effects? You should buy this movie. Do you worry about getting cold feet from having your socks knocked off? You should get some slippers and also a copy of this movie.

wow this was a good one. Yondu is hilarious and Batista laughs the entire movie haha. The quality is excellent. I liked seeing baby groot as he does steal the show. but it was great seeing the other characters back too. Anyway the movie came out in superb quality. Definately would recommend it. no 3d option just as the other one but its has a perfectly clear picture. Amazing colors on my samsung tv.

OMG, Marvel has hit the Jackpot! with this wonderful movie. It definitely utilizes all of the trust that we have been nurturing with the previous super hero movies, and then, it blows it up! Funny! Inter-Galactic battles settled by dance-off?!? What?!? You know you will love this film when we first discover that our protagonist will fight to the death with a prison guard for a mixtape that his Mama made for him when he was a little boy.

Action packed and full of emotion, Marvel has done it again. The visuals were stunning. I was very impressed with Gamora, who wasn't your typical action heroine. She had a sweet side to her that rounded her out, a sort of character that girls need to see more often. The other characters were enjoyable in their actions and psyche, but also sympathetic. I loved every moment of it. For those who haven't seen it, I suggest you get it now!

It's the steelbook version of GOTG containing the 2d and 3d blu ray versions of the movie. There is no DVD and it does have it's vudu code for viewing without the disc. The steelbook is in limited quantities so it is best to pre-order this as it is said that people were standing in line to buy multiple copies when it first came out. I walked into the store after 3pm on release date and picked up my pre-order steelbook with no problems.
