This movie is awesome. It is so awesome, you should stop reading this review and just watch the movie already. It has so many great moments. This film will not disappoint. It pulls you in right away, is full of action and fun, has some of the funniest moments, and the best soundtrack ever. Watch it . . . you know you want to.

The title and the characters might make a movie watcher wrinkle their nose at this movie, but give it a try. Set in space, it had more than enough action to keep everyone entertained. It's easy to follow along with if you don't know the characters, it'll make you laugh and I dare you not to love Groot by the end of this film.

This was my favorite movie of 2014 followed by Cap 2: The Winter Soldier. This movie is just like the comics, a lot of laughs and great action. The special case is just beautiful. When I first knew about it, it was only stated as a UK special case. I was willing to still buy just to have it, but I'm glad we got it in the US.

Seriously just pure fun wrapped up in an epic space film. Funny, touching, action-packed and an overall good time for everyone. Now onto the BluRay itself, haven't had a chance to go through all of the special feqtures, although there isn't that much there. I do love the IMAX shifting ration for the picture on the 3D Blu Ray.

This is one of the better Marvel movies and the collectors package just adds to the overall value. They were somewhat limited in supply but if you find one for 19.99 or less it is definitely worth the purchase

Marvel delivers an excellent sci-fi movie with the perfect balance of action, humor, and story, set to a nostalgic 80's soundtrack. The limited edition steelbook is extra icing on the cake, but it is unfortunate that it will be very difficult (if not impossible) to acquire for those who did not snatch it up on the first day.

I went to see Guardians volume 2 recently and while it was a great stand alone movie here I felt there were a few blanks I needed to fill in. So here I am purchasing the first one (and yes I'll purchase the second one when it comes out). Great movie and great characters I highly recommend this one

Summer 2014 was a slow year, especially for mature films targeting adults. Guardians of the Galaxy managed to bring the right mix of action, goofiness, and pleasant laughter to the mix. The chemistry and comedy between the actors combined with the fact that the show never takes itself too seriously really took the summer.

Great movie! I bought the soundtrack off iTunes as I was walking out of the theater. Originally preorder the movie on Amazon, but quickly cancelled it for this sweet steelbook edition from Best Buy. Best decision ever! Sucks that scalpers have bought up the limited run and are hawking it for a huge mark up. Glad I got mine.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an un-expected delight. The story is down to earth and genuine. The misfit motley crew of characters bring a sense true heart and compassion that literally reaches out from the film and touches your soul. And the music selected for the soundtrack adds that extra "feel good" sensation to the movie.

I initially watched this in the theater with low, low, low expectations, and boy was I surprised. This movie is fantastic!!! Visually stunning, state of the art special effects, great acting, entertaining, and well thought out storyline. Treat yourself. Buy it on Blue-ray. Watch it, then watch it again. You won't regret it.

So we actually saw this movie in the theaters twice, and my kids still wanted to won it. I bought the blue ray with the digital copy so that the 2 kids away at school could also watch it. It was expensive ($30.00 an I normally would never pay that much for a movie so the kids were very pleased but I felt it was overpriced.

The movie is great, with the old school music for the parents that grew up in the 70+80's and the new characters will make any kid laugh at some point. The movie moves at a decent pace to keep your attention. Like someone told me at one point, take Star Wars, and Throw in some Avengers, and you got Guardians of the Galaxy.

Marvel has scored a Big Hit with our family. All of the Movies that they have produced within the Comic Book Series of Movies, such as Guardians, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, etc are some of the most creative and safe for all of the family to watch! Thank You Stan Lee and Company!

Marvel seems to only make fun exciting movies. This one has got to be one of their best ones. You do not need to have read the comics to understand the characters or story line. Marvel did an excellent job of making sure the audience was kept captivated throughout. A must own for any comic book fan or fan of space movies.

I saw this movie at the theater with my son and could not wait for it to come out on DVD. It was so much fun to watch, but was more than just an action movie. The characters are unique and endearing and I cared about what happened to them. If you haven't seen it, I strongly encourage you to watch it. It is one to remember.

was looking for the movie because my gf loves it. of course i had to buy the 3D version and thought the steel box added to the look of the item. also, since its steel box, i knlw it will last longer than a plastic box, especially if it accidentally gets crushed. i gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars because it always makes me a little disappointed when the side of the case doesnt include the name of the movie. even tiny letters would help identify the movie without havi g to pull it off the cabinet. im sure its a minor issue for most, but i like to be able to read the title of the movies fast when im looking through my shelves.

Marvel really hit a home run, casting Chris Pratt as "Star Lord" in this movie. There is great chemistry between the team & it really makes for a funny movie. It ties in well into the MCU and can't wait for the next one to come out! Definitely in my Top 20 favorite movies of all-time...& I have seen a lot of movies.

James Gunn did an off-the-charts job with the Guardians of the Galaxy -- great story, great chemistry between the actors, and Chris Pratt's performance is one for the ages. Lee Pace's portrayal of Ronin was incredible! The steelbook case for this blu-ray is very cool! A great movie, make some popcorn, kick back and enjoy!

My first thought about the movie was that it was just a filler movie for Marvel until the next Avengers comes out. I was pleasantly surprised at how good Guardian's of the Galaxy was. We have watched it a couple of times now and even saw it in the theater! It is definitely worth the money and Best Buy had the best price.
