Awesome movie, I got it at a great price. I wish I could have gotten a steel book edition. I'm not happy that Marvel has done away with the Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital combo pack. They were great! The movie itself is awesome, my son watches it several times a week and even talked me into buying the "Awesome Mix Tape Volume 1."

Funny. "Chased by relentless enemies, he forms an uneasy alliance with a ragtag band of misfits, leading to a desperate battle that will decide the fate of the galaxy." My favorite character, "Groot" a tree-like humanoid.

This movie is one you will wear out from watching so many times! (No it won't really wear out like VHS tapes). The humor is unmatched along with a great storyline that really gets you emotionally invested in the characters and story.

Guardians of the Galaxy is another segment to the Marvel universe that continues to broaden the story line and does a great job of delivering with plenty of humor along the way! Chris Pratt is awesome at what he does and it's nice to see him finally getting some real recognition!

Just when you start to think Marvel Studios has lost their touch. Boom! GOTG comes out and blows everyone's socks off. The movie has a great plot line that is extremely easy to follow. What's great about this movie is that you do not need to see past Marvel movies to understand or follow the story. Just watch and enjoy!

You don't expect a pack of misfits, such as a real live walking tree (not the Lord of the Rings type), a fully armed raccoon, an alien assassin, and a vergeful green lady (probably angry over not getting a role in Wicked), and our brash hero Quill to make for a really good action adventure, but it is definitely a keeper!

I bought this movie on Tuesday for $ 9.99 on Release day what a great deal. What a great science-fiction film Good story good plot good ending It's a Marvel movie what's not to like. Best Buy made it convenient to find the movie They had a display right in front By the entrance. I love Best Buy for all my shopping needs.

This movie is hilarious. I'm not really into the comics or whatnot, but I found the story to be very entertaining and not so over the top that it's just action and special effects. Plus it's a bonus that it comes in 3d bluray and digital copy so I can watch it on the go when traveling or as I fall asleep with my iPad ha.

As with many origin stories, the movie starts of a bit slow (after a moving opening scene), but once it gets going, Guardians really becomes a fun flick. It has a nice balance of humor, action, and story, that is typical for most Marvel movies. By the end, you'll find yourself attached to at least one of the characters.

This is one of Marvel Studios best movies to date. Even though the characters are unfamiliar to many they have plenty of personality to hold your interests. Give it a chance if your on the fence you wont be disappointed. I have just the one disk blu ray because Im not a huge extra feature guy works perfect for me.

This is one of the best 3D movies to watch! I loved the colors and special effects for this movie. The space scenes are excellent, amazing. I watched this on our Epson home theatre projector and surround sound at about 15 ft across on the wall. It was like being at the theater seeing it for the 1st time.

I feel like this movie flew under the radar. It is far better than I thought it would be. The cast is great, and all work well together. It's another fun Marvel movie. I don't think I've seen a bad Marvel movie in the MCU

With its near-perfect blend of action and comedy, "Guardians of the Galaxy" is one of the better Marvel movies. It even packs an emotional punch that adds some much-needed weight to a story that features a talking raccoon and a walking tree. I don't read many comics, so I knew very little about this group of relatively obscure characters. Marvel managed to make me care about them, and what happens to them down the line, in the span of one movie. Pretty impressive. Chris Pratt is especially good as Star-Lord. I purchased the bare-bones Blu-ray, so there's not much to it. The video and audio are nicely transferred.

With this product, the only downfall is how disney *sometimes* lacks putting in a DVD copy in with the blu-ray, which could be a major positive in someones buying decisions. I personally use the blu-ray, but when I go out to friends, not everyone has a blu-ray player yet, and the dvd copy is still relevant and helpful.

Everything about this movie (save for the advanced visual effects) harkens back to 80s sci if movies. The Guardians are all charming, relatable, and most importantly, likable. The story itself is sweeping and epic without taking 4 hours to watch. Definitely one of those very few movies that skim the line of perfection.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an excellent addition to the Marvel cinematic universe which started back with Iron Man. Its seriousness is contrasted with Chris Pratt's comedic phrases and disco ready 70's music. But it serves as an excellent tie in with the Thanos storyline which will most likely conclude with Avengers 3.

I did not see this movie in the theater because I thought it would be a weak release from Marvel. I was wrong. I purchased the 3D Blu Ray from BestBuy and it turned out to be a great movie full of action, comedy and fantastic soundtrack. The movie I purchased also came with a digital download which is pretty common these days but Disney has added a new feature called Disney Anywhere. If you decide to get the digital download, sign up for a Disney account which now allows you to merge your Vudu, iTunes and Google Play accounts so you can watch all you previously downloaded Disney movies on any platform. Great feature.

If you dont like a talking racoon, a giant walking tree who apparently has some type of learning disability, a big guy with some type of circulation issue, a chic who somehow turned out to have some crazy form of gangrene, and a grown sarcastic troublesome abducted kid set in space......then somethings wrong with you.

What can I say? You either love the Guardians or you don't. If you do and you have the capability of playing UHD discs onto a 4K HDR TV, then this is the best you're going to see this colorful, fun film.

A fun movie that looks and sounds great. The digital transfer is vivid and punchy, and the DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround track is spectacular. It's always nice to have options, and this disc is packed with features. The 3D effects also look great, and add a lot to the viewing experience. Highly recommended!
