Excellent movie. Has everything you can ask for in a movie. Great visuals, interesting characters and funny. The soundtrack is is great too and if you have a 3D tv bonus! I have watched this movie 4 times now and still looking forward to watching it again. Do yourself a solid one and get this movie.

the movie is a step away from the regular marvel fare, which usually involves 1 hero and his sidekicks, this one is ensemble and every single character is live! in fact the digital characters have a lot of heart which is unusual for a movie like this. i recommend it all the way, especially for kids.

Guardians not only follows the rich marvel comic history of this team and it's villain's but it blends in so much humor and action. Chris Pratt really does and outstanding job as StarLord. The plot weaves late 70s tunes with the story line to great effect. I really hope they follow up with a sequel.

Two of the best characters are computer animated but they are done very well. I think it is one of the best stories of the Marvel series. You can freeze the movie and see what is exactly the Collector has. The standard extras and a look at the next Avengers movie around out the Two Blu-ray versions.

Of all the summer blockbusters, none had more character (literally a raccoon and a talking tree) than the MARVEL Films adventure "Guardians of the Galaxy" -- it didn't only make a gazillion dollars, it made friends from one end of the cosmos to the next! Get hooked on the feeling -- the heroes rock!

Given the cost of going to the movie theater these days, I reserve those occasions for films I want to see on the big screen. And after seeing the trailers for "Guardians of the Galaxy," I thought it had the potential for being either terrific or terrible. So I decided to skip its theatrical run and opted for a blu ray rental. But boy, was that a mistake. Simply put, this was a fun movie, enough so that I opted to purchase the blu ray to add to my collection. Great soundtrack too. I've already downloaded the "Awesome Mix: Volume 1" and listen to these nostalgic tracks regularly.

Guardians is a must see, I am just upset that people were buying this special edition by the boxload just to flip on eBay. It's a case people. If you spent more than MSRP, you are insane. The exact same movie in this box is the one in the regular box. Get it if you can, but only for regular price.

Or a rocket groot time!! First class popcorn-burner has it all—great cast, interesting characters, good music that is really part of the plot, humor, and quality production. Dave Bautista was a standout; Rocket and Groot are characters I want to see again. Totally fun.

I must admit that I never followed the original Marvel comic this movie was based on, so I went into this with fairly low expectations, especially when I saw that John C. Reilly was in the trailer. However, this movie was quite good and greatly exceeded my expectations. Would love to see a sequel!

This movie is great if you are a Marvel fan or even if you are not. It has an awesome soundtrack and the characters (and actors who play them) draw you into their story. You do not have to know anything about the Marvel universe to enjoy this movie, but if you do, you get extra laughs or enjoyment.

This movie was easily the biggest surprise for me and my wife. The characters are very lovable, the story is driven, the CG is top-notch, and the action is very well produced. It's easy to say that I loved this movis and it goes as one of my top Sci-fi movies, right next to my Star Wars collection.

I love This movie! I didn't know what to expect when watching the previews. It turned out to be one of the best Marvel movies to date. Groot is awesome! The Steelcase Edition was so cool to have. The tape and walkman are of great significance in the movie. I love it! Get it if you can find a copy!

Different from the regular Marvel fare, Guardians of the Galaxy is an entertaining, humorous, and at times hilarious romp in space. While there are over arching connections to the greater Marvel cinematic universe, and the Avengers storyline, Guardians stands well on its own as an enjoyable entry.

Having never read comics but being a huge fan of the Marvel universe films, I did not know what to expect. Seeing the great reviews, I decided to pick this movie up. It lived up to the hype, providing a great experience without being terribly campy. And Groot really steals the show in the movie.

I have never read the comics but decided to buy the movie due to all the great reviews for it and how the character Groot is so memorable and awesome. I have totally fallen in love with the movie and after watching for me it is by far my favorite marvel movie out to date. Groot truly is awesome!

Excelsior! I have been a marvel fan since 1966 ... so I love anything Marvel. This is the funniest of all the awesome Marvel movies . Pratt, Saldana, Cooper and Diesel were perfect casting ... but Drax stole the show for me - a character that is very funny and doesn't know it. Great job Bautista!

I don't know if this is the best of all of the Marvel movies, but it has enough action and tons of comedy that make it a very entertaining movies to watch (I've seen it twice now). Marvel is really buidling out a great universe of characters in there movies, can't wait to see what comes out next.

My husband usually isn't the SyFy type but wanted to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 after a preview at the theater. Since he hadn't see the first movie I thought he should watch it first. He so enjoyed it that he put his tablet down to give the movie his full attention!

In case you needed to remember what it's like to have fun at the movies, Guardians of the Galaxy came around this year to remind you. Witty, engaging, big budget production looks and one of the most satisfying soundtracks of the year, it's one of the hands-down most entertaining films of the year

Didn't know this movie would be as good as it is. But I got it when it was first released on video and have already watched it on 5 different occasions. The 3d version of it was unbelievably awesome! Must have for anyone looking for a movie that has everything you could ask for in a marvel movie.
