This was a surprisingly good movie. Saw previews & thought looked stupid, but saw the movie & thought was one of the better Marvel movies I've seen. Good comedy. Characters were fun. Loved Groot. Awesome soundtrack. Check out the soundtrack, too. You won't be disappointed.

Everything you have heard about this movie to true. So much fun in one movie should almost be wrong! Thankfully it isn't. I was already a Chris Pratt fan from Parks and Rec. Even more so now. Bradley Cooper is hilarious as Rocket. A movie to be watched over and over again!

I can’t express how much I love this movie, considering I had no knowledge of any of these characters prior to this movie. As usual the 4K transfer is perfect!

One of the best comic adaptations I've ever seen (the other would be Hellboy). Manages to walk the narrow line between comedy and real drama; a very difficult thing to manage. You come to care about the characters and share their ups and downs. Highly recommend.

This is just an all around fun movie to watch. It has good action, great humor, and amazing actors. I can't wait for Marvel to make another Guardians movie. And hopefully include them in an Avengers movie. I would love to hear a conversation between Rocket and Tony Stark.

I am not into Sci-fi movies as a rule. Love the Star Wars movies and a few others, but this one had me from the opening scene and kept me through the entire movie. I actually bought the soundtrack after watching the movie because it has some classics. Great movie!!!

A pleasant surprise for Marvel Comic fans who wondered whether Chris Pratt was up to playing the lead role. With GOTG he not only proved he was up to the task but added humor and fun to the movie which added to its success. Worthy to add to my permanent movie collection.

Excellent introduction of the characters not familiar with the typical Marvel genre. A ragtag fugitive bunch brought together for an unselfish mission despite different agendas. Comedic and not so serious, love the fact the soundtrack laced with late 70's and 80's music.

This movie is a great addition to the Marvel Cinematic universe. Even though the characters are not very well known to most people, the story and humor really deliver and do not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this movie! The only reason I would not give this 5 stars is because the edition only comes with a Blu Ray copy and no digital copy, UltraViolet, copy, DVD, or bonus disc included. The only way to get more of these features is to get it with the 3D version as well which at the time jumped the price up a lot more.

Too many of the movies from the Marvel world take themselves too seriously. This, however, is simply pure enjoyment. Amusing dialog, fun action and great 3-D effects. And you don't need to be a fan of the comic series to understand and enjoy the movie. Highly recommended.

This is a great movie and it has all those elements that you might love, awesome characters, good synergy and a fantastic history, plus all the special effects of a superhero movie. The blu ray have many additional features and a great preview of the new "Avengers" movie.

I had low expectations when I first saw the trailer for this movie. Then when it came out I heard everyone loved it. I still waited almost 6-8 months before I saw it. And I loved it, why did I wait so long? It was funny, loved the characters and the music was great!

They hit it out of the park with this one. A bit of Indiana Jones, a lot of Star Wars & Star Trek, a mismatched buddy action thriller, a little bit of Blade Runner (the "racoon" is actually a one-of-a-kind genetic experiment) & even a little romance. Hugely entertaining.

Fun marvel movie. This one just doesn’t have any rules and will pull you away from the typical. Love this movie and highly recommend!! The 4k is worth the upgrade!!

I didn't expect much from the movie because I never had heard of the story like I had Iron Man, Hulk, etc. I had heard it was funny. So I figured I'd get it. I ended up loving it. It was funny and entertaining.

GotG is by far one of my favorite Marvel movies. I don't know if I'd go as far as saying its this generations Star Wars but its a great film in its own rite. I would watch this if you haven't I bought and watched at least 5 times already. Gets better with every viewing!

An excellent blend of humor and action. The writing, directing, and acting are all excellent. The characters are very unique and have as many flaws as they do good traits. It's a non-stop roller coaster ride that will entertain you from start to finish.

Fantastic movie. Great combination of comedy and action. Must own for all the MCU fans. I dislike that the recent marvel releases make you buy the 3D BR if you want a digital copy included. I just want BR (not 3D) and a digital HD copy. Is that too much to ask?
