This is good Sci-Fi plain and simple, aside the the whole MCU thing. The 4k version is so beyond the blu ray. Just get it. It is such a pleasure to see this film on 4k, the clarity the colors. Wow!

Here's a great example of a comic that I never heard of being turned in a movie that I really liked. The story is really interesting. The world itself has real depth. I feel like this could turn into a great franchise, maybe even one along the lines of star wars!

The humor is not forced, and the story line stays true to the comics if you are a die hard Marvel fan. If you haven't seen any of the other Marvel movies, no worries there because this is not related in any way. Great movie to watch over and over on down the line.

This is one of Marvel's best movies. It not only tells a good story, but is more of a return to the lighter side not since the first Iron Man. The 3d is almost as good as in the theater. The only disappointing thing is no DVD is included, but I knew that going in.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" is not your 'run-of-the-mill' action adventure. It's certainly packed with action and adventure, but it is mixed with laugh-out-loud humor and great acting. It's reminiscent of the old Star Trek series. Totally outrageously fun to watch!

For those who are SYFY lovers, this fits the bill and delivers a great story line. The character mix in the beginning seems like it isn't special. As the story continues, the interaction builds and they all develop as a great team. Definitely recommend viewing.

I had my doubts at first but man James Gun blew us away!! And the introduction to the Infinity Stones was AMAZING. I also love that we got to see more Thanos! The main reason that I bought this movie in 3D is because I wanted the Digital Download.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a really fun, very entertaining sci-fi action/adventure movie with heart. Excellent story and characters, and very colorful.

Great movie and awesome packaging, If you are a fan of the steelbook editions this is a must own. The only thing I don't like is that the DVD is not part of this edition. You get the 3D bluray and bluray with digital copy. (itunes version or Disney Anywhere copy)

Great movie! Start of a good franchise on its own, but still connected to the Marvel universe. The Blu Ray has some nice features: gag reel, deleted scenes, and a feature with Gunn showing the purpsose of a few sets from the film. You will watch this movie again!

This movie is excellent! There is action, comedy and awesome imagery. The way the main characters interact with each other is very funny and works well. This steel book version is great for collectors. It looks like an 80s era cassette Walkman and is very sturdy.

This was a great movie I loved it myself and I'm sure it would be a great movie for kids I originally bought it for my grandkids for Christmas but I watched it first and I loved it and I didn't think I would so I would say it's a great Christmas gift for the kids

Just when I thought I had been saturated with too many Marvel movies and characters this one comes along and blows me away. In fact this has become one of my all time favorite movies (I'm 48 so I've seen a few). Great price (Beat everywhere else) and top quality.

Although I've been a long-time comic book fan, I have to admit that I really wasn't all that familiar with the "Guardians of the Galaxy." Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the entertainment value of this film. I'd definitely recommend this purchase.

I love this movie. It really has a little of everything thrown in. The actors work great together, effects are top notch, story is good, great comedic moments, flows really well. The bluray has nice special features and the video and audio transfer is top notch.

The only thing I hate, is that Marvel no longer sells it as Blue Ray and DVD together, it is either one or the other, kind of a joke. Everyone else still sells it that way. I do not like being forced to buy 2 copies. But the movie is awesome and worth watching.

This is a great departure from the usual avengers universe the marvel movies inhabit. Don't get me wrong, I like Avengers but I was getting a bit tired of seeing Sam L Jackson in EVERYTHING. This film takes place in the same universe but very far off. The guardian characters are pretty delightful, Chris Pratt probably steals the show. The one weak spot is the villain, who just isn't that great. Overall, Surely worth a watch for fans of action, sci-fi and marvels movies looking for something a little different.

Blue-ray is the way to go for this movie, or anything you ever plan on watching in HD. The movie is true to any of the other recent Marvel releases in that there is tons of special effects, decent dialog, witty character banter with plenty of laughable moments.

Solid movie. I mean, it's a Marvel movie. They generally know what they're doing. The bonus features are not wonderful though. I had to check the stuff on YouTube to satisfy my extras and even YouTube didn't have much. Good movie. Buy it for that and that only.

I saw this movie in the movies in IMAX 3D and loved it. I latter saw it in standard HD and was disappointed with the experience. My 9 year old daughter loved it so I bought the 3D version and was blown away by the incredible difference. So much better in 3D!
