On sale for 15, great movie and great steelbook case, this was a no brainer.

This movie is a must have for any Marvel fan! I will add this to my Hero collection.

GREAT STEELBOOK AND WORTH THE PURCHASE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY MARVEL FANS

I absolutely can not say enough good things about this movie. My wife and I both saw it multiple times in the crazy-expensive theatres and had a blast each and every time. Humor - check. Drama - check. Love story - very mild and subtle...not pushing it down our throats. The entire cast, real and animated/voice, were all great. Chris Pratt is my personal favorite, but Groot stole the show much the same as the Hulk in the Avengers' movie. My wife loves her some Groot! My only disappointment? I'm one of the few people that has yet to purchase a Blue Ray, but I figure I will as soon as I need to replace one of our two DVD players. So when I can, I buy the Blue Ray & DVD combo collections. However, for some reason Guardians of the Galaxy, like Captain America: Winter Soldier, decided not to combine the Blue Ray and DVD versions in a single box. That really sucks for me down the road when I'm able to upgrade to better home theatre setup. But buy this movie...it's worth the purchase in my very humble opinion. I haven't seen anyone of any age (kids to grandparents) who didn't like this movie.

This steelbook is amazing and looks amazing on 4K definitely worth the upgrade

I watched the Guardians of the Galaxy trailers with trepidation, confusion, and skepticism: a talking raccoon? A weird tree thing? I had no exposure to the comic series so I had no idea what to expect, but I knew I had to watch Guardians since it continues the universe I've grown to love. Simply put, every doubt I had was blown away (with the power of an Infinity stone). It blended and balanced humor with the serious. Rocket, the raccoon I raised an eyebrow at during the trailers, has become one of my favorite characters of all time. His biting wit conceals a deeply affective character who feels more than he shows, and he has a /serious/ penchant for heavy weaponry. I watched Guardians, and then I watched it a second time. There were some great fight scenes I wanted to revisit, and I had to see more of Thanos, who looked amazing (cannot wait for him to show up in more Marvel films). This is a Marvel property I had absolutely no exposure to, but it being set so far outside of what's happening on earth (though not Asgaard) it's also a great sci-fi flick for anyone looking. Love it!

OK. Let's not get too excited. I have a friend, Xavier. He's all of 16. He teaches a music class @ my school & is a member of a Disneyland-based club called "The Disneyland Avengers" or something like that. (If you looked up the word "Hokey" in the dictionary, you'd see this kid's picture...) ANYWAY - when Disney/Marvel decided to make a movie based on a comic book created to appeal to a much younger audience, I was non-plussed. However, this movie is way cool. Xavier & company are of the opinion it is better than all the Avengers, Thor, Iron Man and even X-Men franchises. Not so. However, like I said to my kid brother last night, if you collect these movies & you opt out on Guardians of the Galaxy, you will have left a serious Black Hole in the center of your collection. BTW - Best Buy blew EVERYONE away on the price - $9.99 on the DVD! Awesome!

For fans of the MCU this is must buy. A beautiful glossy finish all around.
