Wow! Marvel just can't miss. Being a comic book fan, I never heard of Guardians of the Galaxy but watching the trailers got me to watch this film and it quickly became one of my favorites. All characters were interesting and the actors were solid. Great special effects and awesome scenes.

This movie was my favorite and most entertaining movie of the year. It was original with such funny characters. The story was creative and they picked great actors. This bluray was such a great deal at $19.99! It even had the 3D disk, even though I dont have a 3D player or tv. Great deal!

funny, entertaining, visually interesting, and brings in the infinity gauntlet story arc which for any comics book fan from the 90's will remember the series of the infinity gauntlet and thanos. :) and a surprise at the end of course after the credits. go buy the movie, you deserve it. :)

The steelbook version is simply a must-have for Guardians of the Galaxy fans. The retro walkman-like packaging fits perfectly with the theme of the movie. This is easily one of my favorite movies of all-time, with great comedy, fun action, and a lot of 80s nostalgia sprinkled throughout.

I don't have many steelbooks, but at $19.99, this was a no-brainer. I love the full commitment to the Walkman look, with the interior looking like the inside of a Walkman, and even the buttons printed on the spine. Overall, a unique looking case that I have no trouble finding on my shelf.

I have never heard of the Guardians until the movie came out, so I am not an uber fan of the comic. I love this movie and my kids love it as well. My wife even tolerates it not being a big fan of sci fi or comic book movies. I would definitely recommend this movie for Marvel fans as well.

Whether or not you're familiar with the eponymous comic book characters, Guardians of the Galaxy is a fun movie for any lover of action or superhero movies. You'll definitely want to check this movie out if you've been following along with The Avengers and other Marvel superhero movies.

I love all of the superhero/comic book movies so this was right up my alley. I also love Chris Pratt as an actor and he did not disappoint. My favorite character in this movie though, is Groot. If you are familiar with the Guardians of the Galaxy, you'll know why!

Blue ray should be great, as will be the extras offered with the disk. If you have the gear, go for the 3d, but if not the blue ray should be excellent. Enjoy all the easter eggs in the movie if you are a movie buff, or if not, just enjoy the ride in this fun action fantasy sci fi flick.

I have been a Marvel fan since the early 1970s, I never did care for the DC comics. While not perfect, I truly enjoyed this movie, and enjoyed the 'return' (for me at least) of an old villain. Well worth the purchase.

Great movie, totally satisfied. Had seen it multiple times before, so needless to say we were so excited to buy this. Only drawback for me personally is that DVD was not included in this packagewith BD, 3-dBD & digital copy (as we still have DVD devices that we use for travel, etc.).

I saw this movie in the theater, I have also seen the stories in the Avengers cartoons. I was very excited to see this movie. The story was great and the CGI was amazing. My parents who don't normally watch comic book stories were also entertained. The movie is lots of fun for all ages.

Great movie. Great cast. Movie flowed well. Backstories were not drawn out but still managed to make the viewer care for the protagonists. Cameo by Thanos ties in with the Avengers movie giving viewers that "Hey I know that guy." In a movie where nobody knows who those guys really are.

This is one of those movies that nearly everyone can enjoy. It has the action, the characters, and the continuity from the other Marvel movies to engage anyone. The vulgarity is kept to a minimum, and the action is very well done. Excellent entry, similar to Star Wars when it came out.

I did not expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did. The previews were ok but the movie has a lot more going on than they show. This is from the Marvel universe, but it's really quite a departure from the Avengers, Iron Man etc. Definitely stands on its own. Exciting and very funny.

I just wish they would give us the IMAX format in 4K.

Watched this with my six year old and believe we were both sucked into the world of Star Lord! There are occasionally some darker undertones, but they quickly transition into lighter, humor filled scenarios. As soon as it was over, I was asked when do we get to watch it again!!

Great movie. Even better in 3d. Never thought the movie was going to be great when it was coming out. Took a chance because it's marvel studios and now it's one of my favorite movies! Tons of humor and inside jokes. I will watch third many times...just to catch all off the Easter eggs!

Excellent, this is and will be a movie that you will want for your collection. If you were one of the handfuls that didn't see this in the theaters do yourself a favor and enjoy this epic journey with some really fun characters. Enjoy and be ready to head off into a different universe.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a great movie. It is easily my favorite Marvel movie since the first Iron Man. It has the best blend of comedy and action since that movie, plus the choice and use of music in the movie is amazing. Watching it in 3D only adds to the already great experience.
