Was surprised by how much I enjoyed the first film and liked the characters. As the second installment, it is certainly not as surprising but is good fun and has a strong message about the bonds of family.

Guardians Of The Galaxy is a movie that feels like something magical. Some people have said it's this generation's Star Wars and that it evokes the same feeling that the original Star Wars movies did. I think I agree. I have enjoyed all of the Marvel movies, but this one opened up a vibrant, imagination inspiring world. This movie is filled with a cast of characters that few outsiders knew about or had even heard of. It was supposed to be a risk but turned out to be smashing box office success! We were treated to the most fun and heartfelt movie of all the Marvel movies and it's a huge success among non geeks and the average movie goer. I figure most people have seen this but I'm not going to give anything away in my review. I will just see that this movie has everything you could ask for in a sci-fi movie and something extra you didn't expect; heart! It's full of great timeless music and great action. If you haven't seen this movie, you absolutely must. Then go out and buy the soundtrack to!
