When I first saw the trailer, my first thought was, "Oh geez! Another stupid movie with a talking animal". Now, I'm an animal love, no doubt, but movies that feature them in any way are typically so ridiculous. That being said, Rocket the Raccoon turned out to be my favorite character. The story was also great, as were the other characters. As for the blu ray, I bought the 3D version, and it was incredible! BTW, turned out to be one of my favorite movies ever!

This is the 10th film in the Marvel Cinimatic Universe and it delivers in a fun action tone of the same vain as Iron Man and Thor. If you have been watching how Marvel has been unfolding it's epic story, I don't think you will be disappointed with this latest feature. The Steelbook case is fantastic with its design of a late eighties Walkman. Complete with sticker image on the back of packaging. These are getting harder and harder to get so grab it while you can.

I really didn't know anything about Guardians of the Galaxy before I saw the movie at the theater. I only knew it was a Marvel super hero movie, so I thought I would give it a shot. This movie was awesome and completely blew my expectations out of the water. Not only were the characters, action, and special effects perfect for a superhero movie, but it was also extremely funny without being too inappropriate for younger audiences. Great movie for the whole family.

I had never heard of the Comic " Guardians of the galaxy", so I was both surprised and intrigued when this movie came out. My family had planned on going to see it at the theatre, but we didn't get the chance. So when it was available to rent it, we did. It was an Awesome movie. My whole family loved it!!! My only complaint, is that when I buy movies on Blu Ray, I like to get the regular, and digital copies as well. Marvel didn't offer this option on this movie.

The coolest part about some of the Best Buy exclusive products are the amount of detail they usually put on the Steel Book special edition Blu-Ray releases of movies; Guardians of the Galaxy is no different. Of all of the Steel Book editions I have I enjoy the "Awesome Mix Vol. 1" Steel Book for Guardians of the Galaxy the most. The blu-ray edition of the movie is fantastic with all of the resolution and sound clarity you could want for your high-definition TV.

Looking and sounding every bit as good as vol 2 4K

must admit when I heard they were making a movie of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, I had very low expectations for a film about a bunch of D-listers from the Marvel Universe; ones so far down that many fans had to think for moment to remember where this group fit in the Marvel pantheon of heroes. Now, after seeing the movie, I am more than glad to say that I was wrong, for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY turns out to be everything you'd want in a summer blockbuster and more.

The Guardians of the Galaxy was an excellent and fun Marvel movie that introduces a whole new set of space based characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Christ Pratt and team did a great job of bringing great humor to the story and the plot moved along very well. this is an excellent movie for repeat viewings and continues to entertain. The extras on this set were also great with many deleted scenes and behind the scenes features. Highly recommended set.

All the great super heroes very funny at times awesome

One,.depending on your age, you'll love the music in this movie. The sarcasm is on point with the characters. (Make sure to watch the extras) Bautista (sp) I would never had thought he could act so well. Just an all around great movie for Marvel. Still completing my collection. Plus, nice to see some oldie, but goodie faces in the Marvel Universe.

I am not going to get into the movie because anyone who has seen Guardians of The Galaxy knows how awesome the movie is, but this is more directed toward the deal for a 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and Digital HD copy. Normally this would probably cost over $30.00 and the fact that you get a 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and a digital copy, it is well worth it. If you have friends or family that have a 3D TV, you can sell it or gift it. This is what I am doing. Go get yours!

I'm a comic fan and the idea that the next movie was Guardians sounded crazy. It's an old team that just recently got a high profile book and I didn't really know all that much about them. I read the comic and instantly got excited for the movie, but then the director was announced. I did not like Super and was worried about James Gunn. I was way wrong. The movie is great! It's fun and action packed and really funny. Definitely one of Marvel's best movies.

I really enjoyed this one, the first of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. It looks stunning in UHD 4K and the sound is very well done. I have all audio through the soundbar, and the TV speakers turned off. This is one of the Marvel movies to keep for sure. Highly recommended.

I love the Guardians of the Galaxy because there was a lot of creative reality in this film, watching our beloved super heroes doing outrageously normal things that real people do. I have never personally read the comic series, but this is a fantastic Marvel movie with fantastic actors all throughout! Set in the timeline where the guardians first meet, it's up them to save the day as they cross path with an infinity stone.

Great movie at a great price If you haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy, it is one of the very best comic book movies made. Sure, it isn't as deep as Avengers, but it is a seriously fun ride. Great job keeping the characters balanced. It would have been easy to go over the top on Rocket but they make him enjoyable without overdoing it. All the other characters translate well. It is a funny, entertaining and a good story. We'll worth the investment.

Guardians of the Galaxy might seem cheesy for those who did not follow the comic book, but this film crosses many boundaries of people's tastes. Highly entertaining, moments of humor, action, a great story of a guy looking for acknowledgement and purpose in life. Finds himself as part of a much larger issue aiming for destruction, he bands together with a rag-tag group, never thought to be friends... I've never met someone who did not enjoy this film.

I love this movie. I think most people do based on its reviews. So I'll focus on the actual disc which includes an incredible transfer that is vibrant, full of life and really takes advantage of each and every pixel and color allowed in the Blu-ray format. The Audio mix is also spectacular. This mix shines on a surround sound system, with ships, battles, and worlds coming to life in your living room or home theater.

This movie blew all other blockbusters out of the water! It was hilarious, it was full of action, and was not your typical type of movie, which made you constantly pay attention to what would happen next. The characters were chosen very well and they make a great team. Chris Pratt surprised everyone from his previous goofy character on Parks and Rec to a more rebellious but lovable character in this movie. I cant wait to see the sequel to this movie!

This is an amazing movie, very fun! Wish Best Buy would have handled the steel book sales better, my store sold out in minutes, with people purchasing multiple copies. But the price was right for for 3d, I hope to see more 3D movies released at this price. I love 3d, and for me the 3d on this movie does not disappoint! Also the director's use of multiple aspect ratios was pretty cool! A great addition to my collection that I will not tire of watching.

First off - BestBuy had the lowest price of all the stores I visited....but it didn't matter! Why, you might ask?? Because, silly - it's an AWESOME movie!! All kidding aside - this movie is definitely for the SciFi, Fantasy, Adventure, all-round-fun movie lovers out there!! It's the snowy season, people - get your jolly-good PJ's on - dim the lights - and check out this flick! And make sure you get it from your local BestBuy, too!!! Merry Christmas!!
