All marvel movies have begun to feel the same and play out the same, "cept" for this movie. This is not a super hero movie. This is a space epic and does a fantastic job of seperating itself from the rest of the marvel pack. The PQ is fantastic, both on regular and with a 3D presentation that allows for good, if infrequent, popout and incredible depth. The AQ is even better. Highly recommended for a fun family evening.

This was honestly one of the best movies of the summer, but I was incredibly disappointed that this movie wasn't released as a DVD + BluRay + Digital combo-pack. I saw that they had 3D BluRay with BluRay and Digital Copy, but I don't have a 3D TV, nor does anyone I know so I found buying this version a waste of money. Overall, the BluRay was probably the better buy because I think it came with more features than the DVD.

Obviously this movie is great, but if you can get the steelbook then you better ASAP. It's like a cassette player with the buttons on the side and on the back is a picture of the Guardians and the front of case is pictured already. Best Buy is doing right by these steelbook exclusives and I highly recommend them for not only this, but for any movie exclusive you may like Best Buy probably has a righteous steelbook for it.

The cinema photography, lighting, special effects and acting are great. The characters and writing is superb. The plot was better than most action movies and a sequel should be in the works. All aspects of the movie are up there with the likes of Starwars, Superman (Chris Reeves) and Spiderman. If you want to see a great movie and be entertained for a couple of hours this is the movie. All you need is popcorn and Coke.

An awesome steelbook case with an awesome movie. Firstly, the movie is really awesome and it introduces us to a new storyline in the massive Marvel comics universe. The movie is well done and well acted and the story of the movie is easy to follow despite the many characters in this film. Lastly, the steelbook case for this movie is the best case I've ever owned. The steelbook case is the best themed steelbook case ever!

Guardians of the Galaxy has a lot of fun characters. The picture is pretty good, but probably not much better than the regular Blu-ray. One reason to buy this 4K version is to get the Atmos sound.

I didn't see this film when it was in the theaters, and although I knew about it, I really hadn't read any of the reviews. I'm a sci-fi fan so I pretty much enjoy all of the major Hollywood offerings in that genre. I wasn't disappointed by Guardians of the Galaxy. The special effects are decent and I especially loved the mix of 70's and 80's music. The 3D was especially good. I'd recommend it for any sci-fi collection.

This is one Marvel's smaller properties, but it is their most carefully crafted film to date. This film doesn't suffer from having the larger well known characters so it makes a huge difference not having to go through an extended time for the characters origins. You get treated to better story b/c of this, and makes the story progress better. A good film for comic book or non comic book fans, a great sci fi adventure.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a great film, and there isn't much that can be added in discuss not that. I was able to get my hands on Best Buy's exclusive steel book version, and I'm quite impressed! Of course, it doesn't make the movie itself any better than it already is, but its a nice solid case instead of flimsy plastic and looks really cool--if you're a collector, this is definitely the version you want to go with.

I didn't know what to expect with GOTG, but it is now one of my favorite Marvel films ever! It was clever, action-packed, and had believable and fully realized characters! On top of that, you had an awesome classic rock/70s soundtrack that was just too much! I also was able to get this cheaper than at Wal-Mart or Target! I was able to pick it up the next day at my local Best Buy, and it was an easy breezy experience!

I had absolutely no expectations for this movie at launch. I was forced to go to the theater with a friend...and I completely LOVED IT! Went and saw it 2-3 times in theater, purchased it on DVD at launch, and just recently purchased the Bluray for it. Great story, humor, characters, and action! One of the best Marvel superhero movies to date! PS...the second movie is awesome as well!

The movie itself is stellar and one of the finest of the MCU. In terms of the 4K presentation, it looks stunning on a great 4K tv, and makes it well worth purchasing on 4K UHD Blu-Ray, even if you have a Disney+ Subscription. Nothing beats 4K quality on a disc.

This is a great movie put out by Marvel that blew my expectations away. This movie is great for teens and older, only because of the violence and occasional bad language. This movie hits all the right cylinders and kept me glued to the screen. Action packed ride featuring a band of misfits/criminals turned good that came out much better than anyone was anticipating. A must buy for any comic book lover or action fan.

I've been waiting for this film to come out on Blu-ray for too long. I was one of those that thought Marvel had laid a turkey with this one so skipped it. Then when we all found out Marvel had done it again, I never got the chance to see this film in the theater. I wish I had. As good as it was, it would have been even better on the big screen with popcorn in hand sharing the experience. Never doubting Marvel again.

When my boys, 11 and 12 asked to see this movie I really though I would be taking one for the team. It looked pretty ridiculous from the preview and this is coming from a Star Wars fan. When I saw it I was totally won over! It brought tears to my eyes, made me laugh, had a kick butt soundtrack and awesome action! It wasn't just mindless entertainment! I ca not wait for the second one :)

I was really getting tired of the endless supply of Spiderman, Superman, Batman, and on and on so I was relieved that this movie was different. It's got all the hoaky back-story stuff, but doesn't make you feel lost if you didn't know any of it ahead of time. Great soundtrack (even if it's music my mom listens to!). Fun characters that don't come off as 'cookie cutter' heroes.

If you're looking for a twist on a typical marvel movie this is one. It has the feel good felling of the old school Star Wars with the modern twist of today's humor. Not that dark a movie so the kids can watch it, so what's always enjoyable. The scenes however do jump around a lot and for some die hard fans they will be a little upset at the alterations of the Guardian's back stories, but all in all, a good film!

Great picture and sound. The 3D is awesome for a post converted film. The movie its self is one of the best Sci Fi films I've seen in decades. Its like a cross between Star Wars and The Last Star Fighter with a bit of Big Trouble In Little China to balance it out. It could have used some more special features but what you do get is pretty cool. It's up there with Iron Man as Marvels best films. I highly recommend.

Best Buy offered the best pricing and packaging on Guardians of the Galaxy so it is no wonder they sold out of this title. Luckily, I was able to get a copy before they ran out because this is one of the best, if not the hands down best, Marvel comic adaptions to date. The movie has a good flow to it, tells a good story, has interesting characters, humor, heart and great special effects. This is a must own movie!

I wasn't sure what to expect because this movie is not your typical Marvel fare. There are none of the usual characters we've come to expect. Instead we are treated to some of the best misfits the galaxy has to offer coming together to save all life. Action packed with fantastic special effects and a soundtrack that will keep your foot tapping throughout the entire movie. This is one to be watched over and over.
