Picked up a sweet deal on Guardians of the Galaxy after receiving an email from best buys CEO to come shop with a gift card. I will admit, nothing seemed to different to me. The items I want are still never available or convenient, and the service has been a little better, but is still pretty much the same best buy service as usual. While I still don't think I'll ever buy another computer from them ever again, I will definitely keep an eye out for deals on newly released movies. No one had some of the newest releases at these prices! As for the product itself, I have yet to see this, but I know the rest of my family has and will be very excited to see it under the tree. Receiving that gift is helping to brighten our family's Christmas since everyone is pretty much just buying for the kids this year.

Guardians of the Galaxy comes from an obscure Marvel property, but it has definitely come into the mainstream with this blockbuster that is on most "best of 2014" lists. It has a ragtag group of characters that are brought together by circumstances that force them to become better people and act as a team to save... you know, the galaxy. A great message wrapped in a fast-paced plot and colorful special effects.

I saw this movie in the theater in D-Box 3D and knew I had to buy it when it came out. Marvel Studios is making some amazing movies. I really enjoyed the story and was blown away by the visual effects. The 3D adds nice depth without the gimmicky pop out like you see in some 3D movies. If you like comic books, sci-fi, and the Marvel world, you will love this movie. This is one of the top 20’s in my collection.

This movie we didn't know what to expect, it wasn't your typical Marvel Characters. As the movie moved along you become to know the characters and how they become together. It mixed action with humor like most of the Marvel movies, just a little surprised with the little more than normal adult humor in spots. Overall excellent movie to watch, not often do you get a action movie with an actual good story line.

Even if you're not a big comic book/superhero movie person, this sci-fi action adventure comedy (that has to be its own genre, right?) goes beyond its roots on the page to become one of the best space-based flicks in years. There's nothing exceptional plot-wise, but the fun characters and spectacular visuals are served by a witty script — and a dash of heart — to make this a movie you'll revisit over and over.

What a great action packed movie! Groot, I love the tree and the raccoon Rocket, he is for sure the funniest little creature you have ever heard and seen. The plot of the story was okay but the action was awesome. From the beginning to the end of the movie it kept you wondering what would happen next. The characters were all to funny. So if you are into Sci-Fi I would strongly suggest if for a bunch of laughs.

Really great movie. Nice steel book. I wanted to keep the plastic wrapping on it but wasn't going to be able to completely open up the steel book case.(bummer). I also didn't like that the slip cover (called a J card) had to be taken complete off as well to open up case. (it wraps around the bottom, back, and top of case. The sticky residue is also pretty hard to take off. Nonetheless a great collectors item.

The power of the Marvel brand is awesome, so what can I say that hasn't been said already, The marketing of this movie was on point, The trailers all put the comedy out front — in a way that still left many of the film's best jokes a surprise for the audience — along with enough cool action and strange visuals to make this into something people wanted to see, even if they had never heard of Guardians before.

I bought the Guardians of the Galaxy (SteelBook)(3D Blu-ray)(Blu-ray)(Digital Copy)(Only @ Best Buy) because my entire family loved this movie in the theater. It has everything you could ask for, and more! We were all totally amazed at how good it was. When I saw that Best Buy was offering it in this awesome steelbook packaging, I bought it...without hesitation. It will be a great addition to our collection.

If you are a Marvel fan, odds are you have already picked this up. I saw this movie in theaters twice! I loved it then so of course I would love it now. Guardians of the Galaxy was a Marvel story that I didn't know much about so I didn't know what to expect from it at first. I was definitely not disappointed! The characters, the story, and of course the humor was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.

Marvel is amazing. I love this movie. Nothing beats a great movie and it is a great addition to my collection. All of the character bring so much laughter to your life. Movie nights are wonderful.

Unless you've lived under a rock this year you already know how great this movie is. If you have not seen it you should go ahead and blind buy it. You won't regret it. Marvel is making movies at a very high level and nothing is slowing them down. The limited steel book is awesome, sure it's not the same player from the movie but that's probably because of some kind of rights. Great case for a great movie.

This is a fun sci-fi story that has decent character development, and a lot of special effects and some cool characters like a brute tree person. The story was engaging and the action was plentiful. It isn't as good as Lord of the Rings, but it was good enough to get more than 4 stars. If you are looking for very sophisticated sci-fi, this probably isn't the sci-fi you are looking for.

Marvel Studios continues their great run of movies with this adaptation of one of their more obscure titles. Mixing humor with genuine emotion and fantastic outer-space action, director James Gunn makes the most of a great ensemble cast led by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. A very informative commentary by Gunn is the best of the extras. Well worth a purchase.

This movies was great, it has a lot to entertain it was not just action and special effects but also the comedy, that raccoon was just to funny LOL. The 3D effects were awesome, a lot of pop out scenes I jumped few times, second best after Avatar in 3D. And best of all hard to get the collectible metal pack must own movie.

I really like when I can get something that no one else offers. At Best Buy thay offered a steel book case version of this terrific movie for the same price as one in a regular plastic case. It has 3D/BluRay/DVD versions inside and the case looks like an old walkman cassette player. Very unique and very cool. As a collector it is a wonderful addition to my library. It helps that the movie is so good too.

Everything you've heard about GoG is true! It's got everything you could want in a movie ... action, adventure, comedy, great special effects, an awesome cast, a cameo by Stan Lee (hey, what Marvel movie doesn't?) and a soundtrack that will be stuck in your head for days. If you are a fan of comic based movies, you must own this one, but even if you aren't this movie has something to appeal to everyone!

Recently purchase this 3D version, all I can say the 3d effects are amazing, don’t understand why they have stopped selling 3d movies in the US, I seen in other countries 3d versions are still for sale, will be nice to get 3d versions in th US again specially with the new 3d movies coming out this summer, hopefully those will be release in 3d in the US.

It's everything it looks like and more. There's no better way to own Guardians of the Galaxy...even if you don't have a 3D set like me...this is the ultimate. The fact they used the mix tape player as the steelcase...is just the cherry on top. As an avid fan, I can honestly say it's the best way to own the movie. If you can get it, I highly recommend it. Plus the movie is amazing...so there's that too.

This is probably Marvel's best movie so far. I love all of Marvel's movies and the keep getting better and better and I wasn't sure going in how this one was going to be, but coming out this one far and away blew away all of my expectations and topped what I thought was coming. Any Marvel and Sci-fi fan will love this movie, if you havent seen this yet or dont own this what are you waiting for.
