The 3D on this movie was really good & worth the extra money. I had originally seen it on an airplane & it was so much better in 3D and on a 55" screen at home. My husband liked it as well. Starts a bit slow, but once it gets past the opener it's a fun ride. I loved the lead role & you really got to like all the "Guardians" by the end of the film. I'm looking forward to the next Guardian film.

Wife and kids convinced me to include this for our blue ray collection after watching on the big screen. This is a great movie for the whole family. The music really plays a big part in all the scenes (have the sound track before buying the movie). 3D adds an extra dimension to all the action. This meets all my entertainment requirements: action, sci-fi, super hero, comedy, and family friendly

This movie is quite enjoyable and the quality is consistent with all of my previous Marvel Movie purchases. Enjoyed the fact that this version included the blu-ray and digital copy. It seems like most of the Marvel movies are moving away from the digital copy and blu-ray combo, but keeping the price the same. Glad this version includes three versions of the move 3d, blu-ray, and digital copy.

This movie is about a group of individuals that inanvertantly come together because of an orb that a ruthless killer Ronan wants, who is trying to take over the galaxy. They bond together against Ronan over the orb they posses. They are trying to understand what the orb does while avoiding Ronan and their individual personalities come out and clash in a hilarious adventure around the galaxy.

This movie expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe and introduces new and hilarious characters. It's a battle between the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Kree civilization. It has plenty of action and humor.

This is one of the few movies I have pre-ordered. The Star Wars blu-ray set is the only other. The movie is terrific. Marvel has done a superb job of introducing an entire team in one movie, and it is pretty hard to pick out a true star. The story is fun, and moves from one set piece to the next without a lot of undue delay. Overall, Guardians of the Galaxy is a terrific addition to the MCU.

I was skeptical when I first heard about this movie. But, I am glad I did. Groot (a walking tree) and Rocket (a raccoon) steal the movie. Even though Groot has a very limited vocabulary (three words... I am Groot), you are still able to understand what he is saying. Although it is a typical Marvel movie with lots of action and humor, it also has a lot of heart.

I watch different movies for different reasons. But the main reason I watch most movies is to be entertained. Guardians of the Galaxy is what a big budget action movie should be. An over the top, fun, adventure. Marvel's Avengers was my number 1 movie in this catagory but Guardians has managed to take the title fron it. Guardians of the Galaxy is a must buy.I also want a dancing baby Groot.

Guardians is a fun filled action romp, that perfectly blends the fantasy of comic books with the punch of an over the top action flick. The characters are engaging and will appeal to a variety of viewers, the soundtrack is AMAZING and the visuals are superb. Lots of well timed humor, too. But watch out, there is a bit of language, the action genre-typical violence and some character death.

You like to have the Blockbuster of the year for your collection at least, to have or start a "YOU, MOVIE COLLECTION." Your collection expands to movies of this time in your life to enjoy even later in life. Well, THIS IS IT FOR 2014 !!! I saw it in the Theaters & KNEW that I needed this for my collection. Star Power, action with SIFI FLAVOR & funny also. A good buy for great entertainment.

This steelbook is very different from the usual 'slap a movie poster on the front' style of steelbook. It has been designed like a walkman. Really nice design for one of the biggest hit of 2014. Only downside is there is no movie name in the spine and that had to be done to support the concept. It seems it is already out of print...so grab it with both hands if you ever see it somewhere...

This movie is a really fun romp. It doesn't take itself as seriously as some of the other, recent, superhero movies and that's a good thing. Enjoyed the ATMOS on the 4K, the heights were used sparingly but pleasantly. The LFE was dialed up, OK maybe I cranked it up a little.

I avoided this movie for a long time because of the marketing. I thought it was for little kids. My teens informed me it was a must watch because it was part of the Marvel Universe. Marvelous! Funny! Entertaining! Two thumbs way up! It is not necessarily a little kids movie just a typical superhero fun romp through the galaxy. I highly recommend this one.

I pre-ordered Guardians of the Galaxy as soon as I heard it was coming in a collectible case exclusively at Best Buy. This movie is one of my favorite marvel movies so far even though I had never read the comic series, It has it all action, adventure, comedy, drama, and even horror. The characters are very memorable and the villain is exactly what he needs to be to make for a great story.

A great movie that earns the 5 stars on its own. Additional features provide a fun look at the behind the scenes going ons and insight to the process. Only negative of the whole package is the too short sneak peak at Avengers: Age of Ultron. The content was good, but at just over two minutes doesn't live up to the billing as advertised. Great movie, much like most Marvel Studio offerings.

Marvel and Disney score another win with this tale from Marvel's Universe! Looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy 2! Blu-ray disk great, as always. Enjoyed the Blu-ray 3-D disk version. Surprised that the regular DVD disk version was not included this time with the package, as it has in the past. Apparently, Disney must be trying to optimize profits by cutting a few corners here.

If you have not yet seen this movie, I recommend you stop being an idiot and watch it. Funniest action movie I've seen in years, or the most action-packed comedy. Either way, this movie is excellent. Soundtrack is amazing, story is super fun, and James Gunn directed it perfectly. Also, this is the best Vin Diesel movie since Saving Private Ryan. Don't be a stupid idiot. Watch this movie.

As with every Marvel Studios release, I had high hopes going into this flick. With the first trailer I was blown away - I knew this was going to be an extremely special movie. I've seen it more times than I can count on one hand now. The special release with the Steelbook is a great option for a dedicated film collector like myself, and is one of the best film tie-in products I've seen.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was. In fact, i feel it is Marvel's best movie to date. If you were a fan of any of Marvel's other phase 2 or phase 1 movies than you have to check this out if you haven't yet. It has the perfect balance of action and comedy making this an incredibly enjoyable film. Also, the steelbook edition matches my other best buy steelbooks nicely.

Not a huge improvement over the excellent Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray. Little details in color improve the overall image. Especially black levels, but certain scenes might be a little darker. Sound track is in atmos, but it’s Disney atmos. Which means you have to raise the volume level high than your norm.
