The improvements are marginal with improved blacks. There's a lot of dark scenes with a bit of extra details that's easier to see this time around. Brighter colors and whites if not significant. But if you want the best presentation in one of the best MCU films, you can't go wrong.

didn't go to the theater to see this & was reserving my opinion until I saw it for myself. All summer I heard all the reviews from horrible to OMG! I fully agree with the latter. This movie was awesome, great story, special effects, characters you can sympathize with & others to despise as well. Well worth the wait & was just as good the 2nd time I watched it too.

The Marvel Universe has been producing better and better movies, and in my opinion, Guardians of the Galaxy narrowly beats out Winter Soldier for best Marvel film yet! It's funny, filled with action and adventure, great scenery, and filled with emotions. Rocket's story, Groots end, such touching moments in an otherwise action packed movie! A must see for everyone!

The SteelBook looks very cool and comes with lots of great bonus features. The price to me is also very fair since you get three copies of the movie. The only thing that could have made this better is if it came with a DVD too, making it a complete bundle. It is still a must have for Guardians fans if you can get it, just don't pay the crazy after market prices.

Marvel is bringing out the movies that we once read in the comic books. Keep it up. The action and characters were funny and very exciting. Hopefully the Avengers will eventually meet up with GOTG just like the cartoons. Thanks marvel for everything. Keep in mind DC comics will be your competition. Look out for there superheroes to come to life in the big screen.

We have a 4K 3D TV and I am always looking for 3D movies to enjoy with the family. We didn't see this in theaters but we had seen it before. The 3D effect made it more enjoyable to watch. These Marvel movies have great visual effects and interesting moments. We enjoy watching them and this Bluray is no exception. I recommend it.

I absolutely love every bit of this movie!!! Great action, lots of funny parts, great actors, great cgi, and a great sound track! My absolute favorite part about buying this was the 3D. I absolutely hate 3d! Most of the time i will get nauseous. I had no problem with watching this in 3D. I was amazed on the quality of the 3d effects! BUY THIS YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Best of the Marvel Series. Contains all the excitement and adventure one would expect from a Marvel superhero movie, but the glue that holds this ragtag band of outlaws together is the humor funny, thrilling, full of heart, and packed with visual splendor.

Have you seen this movie? If you have, then there isn't much I need to say. It speaks for itself. If you haven't, please for the love of everything watch it now. I love how BB has the new movies on sale, it makes it a lot easier to pick them up right away. I was able to pay for this one using my Reward Points as well, so I am super satisfied with this purchase.

I was floored when I heard Best Buy was getting this GOTG SteelBook exclusive designed as Star-Lord's cassette player. Basing my review on the packaging alone, it's probably one of my favorite SteelBook designs to date; appealing to any fan of the movie and/or throwback 80s tech enthusiasts. Fast-forward to your nearest Best Buy and pick one up if you still can!

I love this movie. It's great in 3d. The 3d effects are fantastic. Well worth every penny. I also loved the plot and all of the actors. I'm looking forward to seeing Guardians of the galaxy 2 in 3d. Root is my favorite. And baby Groot I hear is even more funny in the second movie. But I'm waiting for Best Buy to get it in 3d.

I am a DC fan, but i also like marvel movies a lot. I think the era of comic book movies is making me feel awesome, and this movie is one of the best i have ever seen. It is funny, very entertaining and the characters are really cool, except for the main antagonist, but nothing is flawless. i loved the simple plot because it was fit to the tone of the movie.

I don't usually enjoy the cartoonist, futuristic Star wars, Star Trek, and Marvel movies because of all the over the top computer graphic effects. However, I was pleasantly surprised to watch Guardians of the Galaxy. The characters are loveable, the movie has lots of laughs and just enough computer graphic effects. You will love it. Can't wait for the sequel.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a fun pop corn movie. It's Marvel, so you know to expect quality, and the quality is there. A bit lighter and more fun that a lot of the super hero movies as of late. It is more sci-fi than super hero. Great acting and effects, pretty standard story that doesn't bring anything new to the genre but it is definitely entertaining enough.

I had somewhat low expectations before watching this movie. But after speaking with several other people who really enjoyed the film I decided that this was one worth having in our collection. It is nice to know that you have an entertaining and funny movie that you can use to entertain kids at a moment's notice. It is a testament to the state of CG work that you can focus on the storyline while actually believing that a talking tree, a maniacal raccoon, a deadly alien woman, and a confused insecure human can all team up to save the universe from a deadly villain. After watching the movie I was thoroughly entertained and would definitely recommend this to families as good clean entertainment.

I've known people that have never heard of some of the marvel heroes and make the decision not to see the movie. It's a shame. This one is great. Honestly I have never heard of them either. And I actually asked for this movie as a gift even though I had never seen it. It's now a family favorite. There's something for all ages in the film to enjoy

the movie: it's awesome, one of my favorites of the year a/v quality: looks and sounds great. extras: ok, not great. a couple featurettes and a boring commentary where the director mostly talks about how clever he is the packaging: I got the exclusive steelbook, and honestly the basic cases look better. it doesn't even have the name of the movie on the spine

This is a really nice set. I missed out on getting it when it first came out but fortunately Best Buy released it with the Tin again. I had seen the movie 3 times before getting to see this 3D version. It was even better than seeing it in 2D in my opinion. If you like sci-fi, a little bit of silliness and some cool special effects then this is a must watch.

Unfortunately, this is the latest in a trend of Disney UHD's with an excellent video presentation, and an audio track that has to be turned up much louder than normal to approach a good listen.

Great movie and instant classic. Though and obscure Comic from the '70s Marvel did a great job with making this part of the MCU. The steelbook ok, not the best design out of Marvel but it is still well done, only complaint on the steelbook is the spine, its the buttons of a walk man rather than the title. I'm a collector so that sort of thing kind of bugs me.
