I did not know about the Guardians of the Galaxy comic series. Most of my my Marvel knowledge was from X-Men and Spiderman etc. I was wary during the buildup to release, but when it came out I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are really great, the story is very fun and the soundtrack was incredible. Don't miss out on this one as it is an enjoyable ride.

If you told me I would enjoy a film about a talking racoon as much as I did, I'd have never believed you. I had never even Heard of these guys before this flick, But the film is fun and filled with lots of funny moments and action. I prefer some of the other superhero flicks better, but this was entertaining. The steelbook packaging is awesome for collectors.

I have been wanting this movie for a long time and best buy had a great deal during the holidays. Best buy also did great with fast shipping and item arrived without damage! I would purchase with best buy again next time Im looking for movies or games.

If not the best (sorry, Avengers!). My stepson loved getting this as a present. While a talking raccoon and tree may amuse children, there is still plenty of humor that will please adults as well. The steelbook case is sleek and while there isn't a massive amount of additional content, what is there and the movie itself are enough to warrant this purchase.

If you don’t know who the guardians of the galaxy are this is a great movie to get to know the characters and the action in this movie is amazing and fun definitely recommend you get this movie like right now just buy it and pick it up!! What you waiting for click buy!!!!

After watching this movie in theaters, I knew that this was a definite must own on Blu Ray. It has plenty of action and quite a bit of laughs. The cast also gels very well. Also, the special features are your basic commentary with the Director, gag reel and some making of the movie featurettes. Definitely worth buying, especially during the Christmas season.

Never planned on watching this movie. But after hearing all the news and the positive reviews I had a feeling I might be missing out. So I bought the 3D Blu Ray version and I now see why there was so much talk about it. It was great. Awesome cast, lots of action, and it has a great story. Probably one of the best Marvel movies out there.

THIS is why 3d rocks and needs too be brought back to the movie theatres AND home theaters alike. The changing aspect ratio from letterbox to near Imax quality 16:9 for the best 3d sequences really bring home viewers into the film in a way that boring flat-screen cannot. HIGHLY recommended at any price.

One of the best marvel movies made, a real gem that noone really expected at the time. I prefer vol 2 but this is still a treat of a movie and has never looked better now its available in 4k. I'd say the colour depth, sharpness and audio improvement are well worth the upgrade.

I didn't have any expectations of this movie going into it since I knew nothing of Guardians of the Galaxy. I was blown away when I saw this in the theaters and I had to include this in my movie collection. The re-watch value is great with all the action and humor throughout the film. Sar Lord/Chris Pratt is the new Han Solo/Harrison Ford of our time!

The characters and action sequences in this movie are amazing. The real people who play the characters are transformed into out-of-this-world creatures. I also love the musical score because it fits perfectly with the storyline and action in the movie. It is well paced and there's never a dull moment. I can't wait for the second installment in the story.

This is what Star Wars would be like if it was all about Han. It's a great action adventure movie with plenty of smart@$$ comedy. I watched it in 3d and definitely thought it was worth it. I don't have a bad thing to say about the movie. Also, one of the few recent movies I've seen where the soundtrack really adds another demension to the film (almost 4d).

A great addition to the Marvel cinematic universe, this movie is a joy ride from start to finish. It doesn't take itself too seriously and yet it does have it's serious parts. It's keeps the laughs going without veering to low-brow humor. And the action and effects? Well, there's no better way to experience it than on the Blu-ray version. Two thumbs up!

I was extremely impressed with this movie. It delivers in all aspects from Super Heros that I knew nothing about and by the end I loved them and wanted to know more. I was a fan of some of the more well know comic book Heros but Marvel has taken characters that I had "0" interest in and made me love them! Great 3D movie for my whole family.

I saw a trailer for this movie several months before its release, and I thought it was going to be a dog. However, the film turned out to be an excellent summer action film. The production qualities in the 3D blu ray set are very good. The 3D effects in the movie are somewhat understated but it does a good job of enhancing the visuals. Highly recommended.

This movie is unlike any other film that Marvel has released recently. It's basically an action/comedy full of classic songs from the 70s making it almost like a musical. I'm sure the soundtrack is amazing. It had just enough action to keep me interested, and just the right amount of humor but it wasn't over the top. The special effects were also amazing.

I rented this movie on a whim, hadn't heard anything about it good or bad. I love comedy, action, and romance movies; never been a fan of sci-fi/alien/monster movies. So I was a bit sceptical to say the least. This movie surprised me! It was genius. Funny, sarcastic, smart, great effects. Can't wait to watch the 2nd one.

loving all things marvel and enjoying the commitment to story rather than just star power and phenomenal special effects the filmmakers have perfected with the avengers and their counterparts, this film fits in with it's quality of story and dependence on characters rather than it's cg extravaganza...more of an x-men fan, but I enjoy these movies often

The movie is great. You know this. The case is boss as well. If you see it buy it quick as my local Best Buy sold out in 15 minutes. Special features are OK. I would've liked a bit more especially from the voice talent. The commentary is good and informative. The picture is gorgeous on a 1080p tv. Better than the movies in my estimation. So grab it now!

There are handful of movies worth seeing multiple times. This is one of them. Marvel did an excellent job on this one. Funny, exciting, full of hope, and fears. On line with the other great Marvel movies: Thor, Iron Man, Avengers, Captain America, etc. Though not as iconic as those, it soon can be with movies like this one. I look forward to the sequel.
