Superhero movies have oversaturated the industry with formula seemingly being followed without variation, but James Gunn made a fantastic movie that made it fun again to watch a movie with superheroes. Every actor/actress shines in this surprisingly emotional film. Guardians has great humor interspersed with powerful drama. This movie is pure fun.

When I first watched this movie I didn't know anything at all about the guardians of the Galaxy. I was very skeptical about going to the movies and watching it. I'm glad I saw it and it was worth it. It's a very humorous movie and WWE wrestler Dave Batista played a very good Drax. One of the best movies of the summer!! Would definitely reccomend.

I tend to see most movies that come out and this was pretty much my fave of 2014 having seen it four times in the theater. The blu ray is even better because we get treated to all the behind the scenes featurettes. Action and comedy abound. Highly recommended and family suitable in my opinion. Plus, if you're 3D capable, you have that version too.

This movie, in itself, is awesome: if you thought you had seen enough of super-hero movies, think again... this one is fresh, super-funny and incredibly entertaining. Even if you had never heard of Guardians of the Galaxy - like me! Also, this steelbook is one for the ages; the reproduction of an old cassette tape brings back many fond memories!!!

Picked up a Blu-Ray copy of the movie to watch with the family. I heard great reviews from friends that have seen it upon its release in theaters. Very entertaining! My kids loved it and along with the classic music played throughout the film. I'm sure Marvel/Disney will release a sequel, however I hope that it's as every bit as fun as this one.

What a great movie. Lots of action, a great music track and a wonderful performance by Groot! (Vin Diesel). For days we all walked around responding "I am Groot" Fun for the whole family! Don't miss this one! We saw this in the theater with my son and his family, so I just had to get it for them. The grandkids love it too. I am Groot!

Marvel has done a great job with their lineup as of late. With the movies that they have planned, the cupboard is full . Guardians is no slouch!! This movie was great fun. It was the first movie I watched on my 75" Samsung TV. It's a movie you can watch over and over(which I have). Great soundtrack which sounds great on my Polk magnifi soundbar.

This is one of the best Marvel movies made. The Guardians are made up of an unlikely group brought together by circumstance. The movie is a nonstop thrill ride, whether it's the tongue in cheek comedy, or the top notch action scenes. The cinematography is awesome and vividly brings this world to life. It makes you want to see it again and again.

Saw in the theatre and was a must buy for the holidays. Had to buy the featured version as Best Buy inventory of the basic BluRay disks were depleted. Haven't played any of the extended features, but have enjoyed the movie a number of times with the family already. Fun movie especially the 70's music for those of us that grew up in that decade.

I picked this up on release for a complete bargain. If you haven't seen this yet, then you've clearly been living under a rock. Easily the best, most action-packed pun summer movie of 2014 and I can recommend to everyone who enjoys comedies and action movies. If you're a fan of the MCU lore, or even the comic lore, you'll have a good time,

The MARVEL movie franchise is hugely successful and Guardians of the Galaxy is the best effort since the first Ironman. Loved the storyline and the quirky characters. The bonus for this movie is the killer soundtrack. An eclectic mix of GREAT tunes that plays like great old collection of 8-track tapes! Pure popcorn fun at the movies.

One of the best movies that was based on a comics story we have ever seen for the year. We can't wait to see the next sequel to be released soon. The family loves the character "Groot" and even though he has minimal lines in the movie, he actually grows on you, lol! Terrific audio selections from the '70's, reminds me of my brazen younger years.

Yes, better than Avengers or Iron Man (but just barely). The blu-ray high-def really brings out the production design details in the movie. Everything is vibrant and clear. As beautiful as in the theatres. Funny and dramatic. Action-packed. A great ensemble cast! Can't wait for the sequel, but this blu-ray will tide you over!

I bought 3 of these dvd's for Christmas presents.....everyone loved the movie. one was for a teenager and I have been told he has already watched the movie three times and just loves it. Another one was for my 8 year old grandson and he has already watched it a couple of times. The third one was for myself and I really enjoyed the movie also..

This was an excellent movie and I was thrilled to pick it up for home viewing. I had a lot of fun at this movie and it's one of the better Marvel movies to date. Also think it could be more fun for kiddos than some of the other, darker, more serious Marvel movies. It was also fun to learn about some Marvel characters I was less familiar with.

This movie really blew my expectations away when I saw it in the theatre. They did a great job of blending the Sci-Fi aspect of the Marvel World & Characters with comedy, action & great special effects. for this type of story, I don't really see how it could have been done better. Was nice seeing at home on Blu-Ray now & sharing with others.

Marvel continues it's successful track record with a super-fun space opera. I'll be brief. To non-comic fans, the plot won't make much sense, but the writing keeps it fun and fresh and the charismatic cast doesn't disappoint. The movie is fun, funny, breezy and definitely delivers in the action department. The script kind of feels like it was written Marvel Cinematic Universe Mad Libs (_____ took the _____ to the ______ that will destroy the ______ if _______ doesn't stop and he/she learns a little about what it means to be a hero in the process). That's OK, it never fails to be funny and not take itself too seriously. You AND your kids will have a great time.

They hit me with their best shot. What a great movie. The pacing was great and Pratt was perfect for this role. Zaldana is taking over as the action queen. The storyline wasn't convoluted and there were enough teases toward the future of the Marvel universe to keep you guessing. Definitely the movie of the summer. Can't wait for the follow-up.

I saw Guardians Of The Galaxy in the movies twice in 3D and couldn't wait to see it again! The disc is excellent. What a fun comic book movie it is! I bought the disc from Best Buy on opening day last Tuesday and got the steel-book case that looks like a silver walkman player. If you loved this film, you will love the 3D version again at home!

Saw it in theaters only once due to life being to busy. Bought it from Google Play when it was released digitally and then bought the hard copy as soon as it came out. Sad we missed the steelcase. Great movie, adorable... and there is a reason the foam earphone covers are orange rather than the original grey/black.... SPACE FOAM lasts forever!
