Great movie, awesome for the whole family! Blessed with a loose, anarchic B-picture soul that encourages you to enjoy yourself even when you're not quite sure what's going on, the scruffy Guardians is irreverent in a way that can bring the first Star Wars to mind. James Gunn is fantastic, what's notto love?!

I was so dis-interested in this movie when I saw the trailers. Didn't seem very Marvel-esque to me. But after the reviews it got, both from real critics and my kids, I decided to get the movie and watch it over christmas. What a fantastic movie and now I can't wait for them to make the next one. Great flic.

Definitely one of the best Marvel comic book movies. Although I wasn't familiar with the characters, they were easy to like. The special effects were top notch. The movie is kid friendly. Characters were comical. Although there are a few swear words, this is definitely a film that the whole family can enjoy.

First off i must commend Best Buy for their price of 14.99 on a brand new blu ray! It was by far the cheapest around and I was able to pick up a great film that i had been waiting quite impatiently for. Be sure to pick Guardians of the Galaxy up! it might be the most fun watching a movie youll have all year!

I'm a big Marvel fanatic and let me say this up front: GotG is Marvel's best film to date. It's got action, adventure, humor (alot of it), heart, everything. For anyone's that's gotten bored of the recent trend of rehashed superhero films, this movie is like a breath of fresh air. It's absolutely wonderful.

The film is a no holds barred light-hearted action romp that is part of the Marvel Universe without being tied down to the properties that came before and planet Earth. The blu-ray is a decent bare bones release (1 disc) with a good sound and picture transfer as well as a few extras.

This movie is awesome. Funny action packed and even a bit of a love/hate story thrown in to round it out. Even though it is based of a great comic book series since this is an origin story you don't need to know anything about it before you go in. You will see quite a few Easter eggs if you know the comics.

My butler, Alfred, insisted I watched this movie and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great movie with one of the best sound track that I've heard in a while.

The movie is a real fun ride. Cool characters, and it's a plus of it being based on a smaller Marvel ip, instead of just the more known comics. This edition comes with lots of extra features, I've found most of them worth watching, I typically don't seem to care for extras anymore, but this breaks that pattern. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because the outer side of the case doesn't have the movie name, just the cassette play/pause/fast forward/rewind buttons, and that bothers me a bit. Means people will have to pull it out to see what it is when lined up with other blu-rays.

I love this Movie very entertaining, funny, lots of action, flying spaceships, lots of color and the cast are awesome! The 3D version is much better to watch at night with no lights and it looks like you were in space with them. So if you have 3DTV get the 3D version.

I totally recommend this movie, great quality since it's 4k and sound is great. Classic Action/adventure movie That I enjoyed in theaters and is now on 4k!! This was great to add to my collection!

Bought this BD with my new Sony player and am glad I did. For $15, this package has only the Blu-Ray disc but I never use the standard DVD or the digital copy so why pay extra for those? The disc has no flaws or glitches and played the entire movie without any issues. If you haven't seen the flick, do so.

i'm a marvel fan, so the movie in my eyes was awesome. found it easy at Best Buy, and used my points,(bonus) which I love. anyway great movie still watch it when I need a fix of some Guardians Of The Galaxy in my life. Get the movie even if you don't like it your kid's probably will Peace dudes

A well done campy sci-fi adventure. To get some of the jokes you probably need to be 40+ (which I am) and that makes it all the much better. The 3D on it was a bit blurry at times so I'm not sure how it was shot. The 3D did add a little to the presentation. Certainly worth your time to check this one out.

First off, the film itself is phenomenal. The picture and sound on this Blu-ray is incredible. Could have done with a few more extras, but the commentary by director James Gunn, the Gag Reel, and featurettes do a nice job of giving a lot of information to those process nerds like me out there. Great disc!

I went to see this in the theaters expecting another good marvel movie, and I came out wowed! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. As a child of the 80's I so picked up all the references. Bonus features are really good on this, and a few deleted scenes rock! My only nitpick no standard DVD version

The grandkids are struggling now with no dad and a single mom trying to do everything, inlcuding working full time. She can't afford anything because of this deadbeat. Thankfully I'm able to help out and get something like this movie that they can enjoy, and save money by skipping the overpriced theaters.

Even if you aren't into comics, this movie has it all. Action that will blow your mind, special effects that will awe you, and comedy that will leave you crying with laughter. But be sure to also check out the special features. This one is definitely worthy of anyone's movie collections and is a must-see!

This movie was just as good home on blue ray as it was in theaters! It was even more fun to watch in 3D! I had originally saw this in theaters in regular 2D, so I was glad I was able to watch it Blue ray 3D to get the full experience. I highly recommend investing in blue ray if you are still using DVDs!

I wasn't sure if Marvel's plan to produce films based on lesser known comics was a good one, but this movie captures enough moments that are funny, exciting and heartwarming to make me a fan. Also, the Blu-ray disc transfer is well done and is great for showing off your home theater. Highly recommended!
