If you had any concern over the goofiness of the original trailers and did not see this movie in the theaters, get this now! Nothing but fun. Steelbook was a nice bonus on sale; but I probably wouldn't pay the regular price for it since the regular blu-ray will still have 97% of the goodness at a lower cost. Note that the included digital code gives you a copy through Disney's digital service. It will also automatically give you the movie in iTunes/Flixster/VuDu, if you have those accounts linked to your Disney Digital HD account.

Good movie at a good price. It's nice to pay less for newer BluRays at Best Buy.

With a shifting 2.40:1 / 1.78:1 aspect ratio, the 3d version on the disk stays true to the theater 3d version. I enjoyed watching it in 3d. The case itself looks amazing. When you open the steel book, the inside is printed to look like the inside of a cassette deck. Comes with Disney movie rewards and a Digital UV version as well. Great collectors Item!

Guardians of the Galaxy came out of nowhere seemingly for the MCU and turned out to be great. It opened up the more cosmic and fun sides of the franchise and came after some of the more mundane type movies (Thor, Iron Man 2/3, etc.). Love having the 4K and steelbook addition to the collection. The artwork with these uniform styles with the matching borders looks very nice. Would recommend.

Most people have already seen this movie before. That being said it is absolutely worth watching again and owning it on 4K blu-ray. The picture quality is immediately noticable how crystal clear it is. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is outstanding! This is probably my favorite of all the Marvel movies. I never get tired of watching it especially now having it at home on 4K. Highly recommend it!

I wasn't certain, when I saw this movie in the theater, that I was going to like it. In fact, when I saw the first preview for it, I thought it looked stupid. Then I saw it in the theater on the recommendation of a friend and was blown away. It was one of the first movies that I saw in 3D that awed me (since the novelty started with Avatar). It was aesthetically superb. The acting was really well done and the lines delivered with perfect comedic timing. The soundtrack is outstanding. This movie is a favorite in my house.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a favorite of mine. My copy quit playing so I needed a new copy. The Best buy price was good and the shipping free- all in all a good deal. It was delivered on time in good condition. As for the movie, its great science fiction. Great special effects backed up by great story telling and characters. Funny and surprisingly moving emotionally.

I actually enjoyed this movie. When I watch a sci-fi movie I like lots of things blowing up, battles, fight sequences, and some good classic Marvel moments. All without each character having 20 minutes of depressing over-sensitive whining, or all the hot actors running around in their digitally enhanced underwear. You get enough to know what's going on and on with the movie. The soundtrack was a little over nostalgic, way too much 70's fluffy pop songs. Though it was better than what dominated the 70's - the dreaded disco!

I was able to get this during the buy 2 get 1 free sale while at the same time they were at a reduced price. The price for the 4k upgrade was too good to pass up. Whether or not it is worth the upgrade depends on your TV setup. The artwork on the steelbook is good and the issue of noting including the title on the side has been fixed. Now if they could just find a way to keep cardboard sleeve over the case to stay down.

I don't buy as nearly movies as I used to and when I do I usually look for a high replay value, as in could I watch this a few times a year and not be bored by it. This movies easily fits this criteria. This if one of the huge comic book adaptations to come to the big screen and if you like that sort of movie then this is a easy decision. Huge special effects, lots of actions, and a ton of silly yet very quotable lines make this movie a good addition to any collection. I would also label this movie "family friendly".

Took my kids to see this film, despite the MPAAs apprehensions and rating... It's was great. It was Star Wars with a real 70's soundtrack and some great comic gags. It culminated every reason why I love comic books, science fiction and music. I can only say thank you after watching this film. Thank you for reminding me of the fun I had as a kid. Thank you for bringing out that disenfranchised nerd in me. And thank you, for giving my kids a film every bit as good (maybe better) than the films I appreciated at their ages.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a good movie for anyone looking for a good laugh.

Linedians has everything, action comedy that same grittiness when you saw Star Wars excellent characters and story Line. blu-ray disc is excellent and does not disappoint the 3D is amazing as well. I cannot stop watching this movie it is so good I have already seen it four times and will watch it again definitelyI even took my parents who are in their late sixties to see this in the theater and they loved it if you have not seen it do yourself a favor and pick this up. Only downfall is I would like more bonus features.

I bought it to add to my marvel movie collection especially in steelbook

I definitely had mixed thoughts about this flim just from watching the trailer. I thought a marvel flim with a talking raccoon and tree this is going to be corny. After hearing from a few of my friends that it was a great movie. I was convinced to go see it. After going to the theater and watching it; I was like this was a amazing flim...it had tons of comedy and a great music selection. It was definitely a movie to love! I just had to purchase it on dvd, with all my other marvel and super hero movie collection. A++++

I'm not generally a fan or the Marvel-class films - I enjoy them, but they're not typically worth adding to my collection. This one is - it's got action (of course), but also a lot of humor. There'a great cast who play unique characters, and the production itself is first-rate. There are surprises - this film isn't as formulaic as many sci-fi/fantasy outings. This is a movie you can watch over and over, and you'll see something new each time. Anyway - get it. You won't be disappointed.

This is just such an off the wall and fantastic movie. The steelbook is a great design and fans will instantly recognize Peter Quill 's awesome mix tape deck. Unlike the marvel movies this feels more like a grand space opera like Star Wars. The movie has adventure, comedy, action, and even some touching moments and doesn't take itself too seriously. If you have any doubts just give it a shot. I guarantee it's the most fun you'll have watching a giant tree person and a talking raccoon... sorry, he's not a raccoon.

Guardians of the Galaxy is hands-down one of the best Marvel films to date. Great acting, soundtrack, and effects. Loved Groot, and Christ Pratt is the perfect Star Lord. All the other actors were fantastic as well, especially Zoe Saldana as the hardened-turned-soft warrioress Gamora. The action is intense, the jokes are hilarious, and the visuals are so breathtakingly vivid and detailed. You can definitely tell a lot of time and dedication was put into this movie, and you're sure to enjoy it time and time again.

The unique steelbook display case offered by Best Buy is an ingenious play on the movie--the sturdy case is built like a tape deck. The case itself is sturdy, (steelbook, duh!), slim to place on a movie shelf, and contains the same content as found in the "normal" 3d-movie blu-ray set. The movie is great and casing is fun. The only "negative" is that the title of the movie is not displayed along the side (so, if you put into a movie shelf, you can't simply read the title of the movie). Big thumbs up, otherwise!
